Job Description

We’re on a mission to provide equitable access to economic opportunity, for everyone.

We close critical skill gaps in the workforce through a new kind of apprenticeship that combines work and learning. We begin by recognizing high-potential individuals both inside and outside of a company's current workforce and then we create applied, guided and equitable learning programs, with measurable impact. Because we believe the world needs a better way to match its potential.

We work with over 1,500 leading companies including the likes of Microsoft, Citi and Just Eat to help solve their business-critical problems, and we’ve trained over 16,000 professional apprentices in the tech and data skills of the future. This is made possible by our global team who are driven to achieve a mission that matters, together.

Join Multiverse and help us set a new course for work.

Requirements

As an Insight Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and generating insights from customer-related data - derived from our tech products, as well as our go-to-market activities - in order to inform key strategic & operational decisions via actionable recommendations.

This role will be within the Data & Insight team, reporting to the Director of Data Science, and will involve working closely with stakeholders across our customer-product and go-to-market teams. You will need to be analytical, pragmatic, collaborative and tenacious. You will also need to understand how data & insights can be shared most effectively with different types of internal and external audiences. Most importantly, you will need to remain laser-focused on the ‘so what’ of our customer data.

What you’ll focus on:

Quantitative Analysis

  • Designing, implementing, interpreting & sharing analyses using customer-product & go-to-market data - e.g. assessing pipeline health drivers and/or identifying trends in customer behaviours

  • Becoming a subject matter expert in customer data (both in terms of product and go-to-market metrics) and developing a deep understanding of the key indicators of customer engagement, satisfaction and long-term retention/expansion

  • Defining, preparing and running live experiments that will test customer-product & go-to-market hypotheses and inform rapid product/process iteration

Report Generation

  • Developing, populating & curating periodic and ad-hoc reporting assets to be consumed by our customer-product and go-to-market teams - e.g. quarterly reviews, annual impact reports, topic-specific deep-dives

  • Tailoring different reporting assets for different audiences - e.g. senior management vs operational teams vs external bodies

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Providing product & go-to-market teams with high-quality first-line analytical support

  • Promoting and enabling a strong data culture across the customer-product & go-to-market teams, proactively identifying opportunities to improve visibility, accessibility and understanding of data at all levels and providing training and guidance as needed

  • Supporting key stakeholders within the customer-product & go-to-market teams with their own analyses & usage of Multiverse’s self-service analytics tools - helping drive the iteration and improvement of these tools as necessary

What you bring

Required:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a data analyst role - ideally within a fast-growing tech scale-up, management consultancy or other customer-focused team

  • Proven track record of producing high quality analyses & deliverables

  • Strong experience using Tableau and PostgreSQL for delivering analyses

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate actionable insights that influence key stakeholders

  • Appetite for working within a dynamic & collaborative team environment

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Commitment to Multiverse’s mission and values

  • Right to work in the UK

Non-Required (But Desirable):

  • Working knowledge of and experience with Python for data analysis

  • Understanding of advanced data science concepts - e.g. statistical testing, machine learning

  • Prior knowledge of talent/education/skills sector

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion:

Every applicant and employee is afforded the same opportunities regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
