What Paddle employees think
Paddle is probably the most flexible, understanding and healthy work environment I have worked in. This comes from a person who has worked for many other sectors, including tech. I like that we are trusted to do our jobs, and unlike many other companies Paddle is fully remote and have successfully built their working culture doing so remotely without making employees go to the office. Offices are a thing of the past, the future is remote, and the future is also focusing on us (the workforce) as what we are (humans), I think this is the foundation of Paddle's success.
Paddle's working environment is the best. It's one of Paddle's philosophies to work anywhere, anytime. The flexibility actually has positive effects on my productivity as I can work during the time that I have great focus and relax when I feel slow/unproductive. It is very nice and people respect each and everyone's time.
Paddle unlocks the best from people by enabling them to work the way that best supports them, this achieves amazing results and attracts amazing people.
Paddle offers great benefits, including flexible working and the freedom to work from anywhere(45 days per year). I appreciate the autonomy and decision-making power given to employees. Being able to advise the senior leadership team on strategy is empowering. The transparent culture keeps us informed about the company's progress, good and bad. While the recent acquisition brought some challenges, it was handled as best as possible.
Paddle.com has a "people first" focus which is a company culture that really connects with me and empowers me to be my best.
Paddle has a great working culture that has really allowed me to find a work/life balance that works for me. Although there is no requirement to go into the office, it has such a great feeling when you do go in that I love going in to catch up with people and say hello. There is never any doubt or question about your work being done, which helps foster that environment of trust to be flexible.

Paddle offers the freedom to work however and wherever you want – we are a truly flexible employer. You can choose to work from home, from one of our stylish hubs , or a mix of both. You can work the hours that suit you, so there’s no need to worry about doing the school run or booking that afternoon gym class. We’re also open to part time working if that suits you better.
All employees are entitled to an allowance to help you get the best possible work from home set up. For those who choose to come to the office, we’ve created beautiful, collaborative spaces with free breakfast, snacks and drinks on hand, as well as a host of regular events and perks.
New parents can take 16 weeks fully paid leave to help settle into family life – and that's regardless of gender.
On top of that, everyone at Paddle gets unlimited time off. Our Navigate perk means you can work from a different country for up to 45 days per year!

Approach to diversity & inclusion
A diverse workforce has greater resources and experiences to draw from. At Paddle, we work to foster a truly diverse and inclusive working environment that encourages authenticity and helps us to better solve problems for our customers.
Diversity at Paddle means…
Recognising and celebrating what makes our Paddlers unique, different, and authentic.
We want to break barriers to diversity in the workplace, and the markets we operate in. Paddlers are dedicated to learning from each other's perspectives, growing our talent from diverse groups, and treating each other with compassion and empathy.
Equity at Paddle means…
Providing our Paddlers with the support, equipment, policies, and work environment to ensure opportunities are equal for everyone.
We make sure that every Paddler has an equal opportunity to contribute, and that contribution is welcomed and treated with respect.
Inclusion at Paddle means…
We combat groupthink, encourage feedback, and embrace healthy conflict because it leads to better outcomes.
We want to create an environment where Paddlers can be their authentic self without fear of judgement. We work to tackle bias so that we can create a safe and nurturing environment where everyone has equal opportunity and support to succeed. This is an ongoing process of continual learning as we grow.
What do we think of Paddle?
Paddle supports flexibility around both location and working hours, as well as other initiatives to support general workplace wellbeing. The feedback from their employees was overwhelmingly positive, and their scores speak for themselves! Great work, Paddle.
