Flexible working at Flexa
🤸♂️ As you'd hope, we're a super flexible place to work. All our roles can be performed flexibly with respect to both location and hours. We operate with a culture of autonomy - as long as work gets done efficiently and to a high standard, we don't mind where, when, or how!
🌱 We are a team of people who love our lives outside of work (pottery, cookery, cycling, running, and swimming are a few of the hobbies we enjoy), as well as our jobs. We work core hours of 11-3, roughly, and outside of that you can start or finish whenever you want (within reason of course).
🍺 We meet once a month, usually in London on a Thursday in our Hackney office, then off for a team activity and then the pub and out for dinner! If team members live outside of London then we pay for travel and accommodation.
🐶 We also (hugely) welcome dogs and our office is 100% dog friendly!

Last week, we had the best time at RecFest UK! We loved meeting so many amazing people. Here’s a rundown of what we got up to:

This week, Team Flexa got together for our monthly meetup where we co-work, collaborate, and have lots of fun! Each month we chose a different activity for the team to do and this month’s pick was ‘Moo-canoes’. Despite some broken oars and competitive rowing the team had an our-some time paddling through the scenic scenes of east London. Last week was Flexa's annual company-wide summer shutdown, and our team members certainly made the most of their week off ☀️
You'll be pleased to know that Molly and Maurice survived their game of hide 'n' seek with the wild bears and decided to end their honeymoon on a literal high, exploring Canada's stunning glacial lakes by helicopter 🚁

We're a startup, and we work really hard. But that also means I have the ability to learn faster than I would almost anywhere else, be truly autonomous and self-driven, and take on new challenges and opportunities. Personally, this really suits me and I find it really rewarding. If you're looking to progress quickly and learn a lot - Flexa might be the right place for you!
My life has changed completely since joining Flexa - and all for the better! I have complete autonomy over my work and schedule, and I get to work from the peace and quiet of my home. Being remote is perfect for me and suits my preferred way of working (which often changes). We meet once a month which seems to work great for us, and I love being able to see the team (dogs included) in-person for collaboration and social activities! I feel very lucky to be at Flexa and appreciate the difference being here has made to my life.
A very trusting environment! We measure our success on 'output' not 'hours' which means that you get real control over when and how you get your work done - as long as it gets done to a high standard and at pace!
Truly flexible workplace; such a pleasure to work here. It's made such a difference to my lifestyle to be able to work around my life.
Very happy with work/life balance, think I could personally be better at “switching off” and not checking slack when off or away but that’s me not a pressure to do so.
