Job Description

What is Flash Pack?

When was the last time you made a new friend? Friendship profoundly improves our emotional wellbeing, sense of belonging, purpose and happiness. Everyone wants more human connection but making new friends is really hard. That’s why we exist, with a mission to create one million meaningful friendships across the globe, using the power of travel and technology as a platform for connection.

We are Flash Pack – curated group adventures for solo travellers.

International demand for solo travel is starting to boom once again – and Flash Pack is here to lead the charge of a growing global movement. To fulfil this mission, we’re expanding our team with some of the best talent around.

A remote-first, well-capitalised start-up, we are backed by founders, investors and entrepreneurs who have built multi-billion dollar companies. We are looking for innovative thinkers and doers to join our team on a mission to tackle the loneliness epidemic and help everyone connect with new friends.

The Role:

Flash Pack is on a mission to create one of the best global, remote companies -where members feel deeply connected to each other and their work. Creating a level playing field for everyone to thrive is at the top of our agenda. The travel industry lacks woefully behind other industries in terms of diversity and equality. The foundations we have put in place including our trailblazing transparent pay policy has put us ahead of companies 4x bigger than us.

Reporting into the Director of People, we're looking for a dynamic and experienced People Operations Manager to join the People team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building the people operations infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency as we scale our team. You will conceptualise, create and implement the employee lifecycle systems infrastructure, workflows, policies, compliance and functional rollouts of the people programme. You will embed a people analytics programme to ensure that we have the right data and insights to inform date led decision making.

You will be instrumental in fostering a positive inclusive work environment, developing talent, and implementing strategies to support the company's growth objectives as we scale. The People Ops Manager will play a critical role in shaping our culture, managing employee relations, driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention, overseeing our global workforce and Employer of Record (EOR) relationships, ensuring HR policies and practices align with our company values, and resolving compliance matters.

Results you’ll influence:
