About us

Texts are the fabric of the digital world. There’s so much information at our fingertips, but making sense of it efficiently is still very hard. deepset's mission is to break this barrier and empower any organization to harness powerful Natural Language Processing to efficiently access and comprehend any kind of data. We build software for developers. Our open-source project Haystack is already used all around the world and we set out to become the semantic layer in every enterprise tech stack with our end-to-end platform deepset Cloud. Combining an open-source project with successful commercialization is one of the key challenges in the tech industry today.

At deepset, we are a tech company with a more human touch. We’ve been a remote-first company from day one. Does this mean that our team members barely interact? Quite the opposite! Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.

Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want.
