About the team
The People Experience team is responsible for creating and managing an engaging work environment and culture for the employees of The Adaptavist Group (TAG), through all aspects of the employee life cycle. We are a global team spanning APAC, EMEA and North America, with specialists across L&D, talent acquisition, and comms and engagement.

We are seeking a Head of People Experience to shape a vibrant work environment and culture, serving as the beacon for how The Adaptavist Group is perceived not only by our employees but by everyone who interacts with our company and our brands.
In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing strategic initiatives that support employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention throughout the entire employee life cycle. Your efforts will align with TAG's goals and objectives, ensuring that our employees thrive and our culture remains strong.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement an employee experience strategy that aligns with the organisation's values, culture, and objectives.- Provide management and direction to L&D, talent acquisition, and comms & engagement, ensuring these functions align with and support the overall employee experience strategy.- Advocate for TAG’s values and culture globally, influencing perceptions of potential candidates, alumni, and partners, through both traditional means like LinkedIn and blog posts as well as more innovative online and in person methods. - Build relationships with key stakeholders in the business, driving collaboration, understanding of how culture works, and the levers to change the same, - Develop and manage programs, policies, and initiatives in line with the latest thinking, theories and developments to enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention to drive consistency, clarity and accountability across the organisation.- Lead data-driven research to ensure that we are using the best tools for employee satisfaction and to understand the success of existing initiatives and strategies. - Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop, implement and communicate initiatives and improve employee experience.- Use data reporting and metrics to inform strategic choices and promote fairness and evidence-based practices.- Innovate and frequently communicate Group-wide to highlight the department's impact on the work environment, while utilising feedback mechanisms to gather input and track the effectiveness of PEX programs and initiatives.
What we are looking for
Essential
- A strategic thinker with a passion for people and culture combined with previous experience in a people centric role.- Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire sub-functions and drive alignment, with previous experience as a senior manager/head of department, including the line management of managers and not just individual contributors.- Demonstrated ability to navigate organisational complexities while influencing and gaining buy-in from senior stakeholders.- Demonstrated experience delivering excellent and innovative communication methods to engage internal and external audiences.- Understanding of the role of DE&I, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace to create a welcoming work culture.- Innovative and creative, you will have demonstrated problem solving skills, coupled with strong project management abilities.- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Desirable
- Previous experience working in a global HR function, with a professional accreditation in HR.- Experience within a fast-paced, fast-growth Tech start-up and scale up environment.
While we are open to considering remote based candidates across North America and Europe, this role will interact heavily with leadership based in the UK and therefore consideration to those based within workable timezones i.e. -5 hours will apply.
