This role will support the growth model director and markets, and markets as they bring the growth model to life. The growth models bring to life Mars Petcare’s philosophy and deep knowledge of how brands grow in our category, and is the core framework around which we will manage our brands end to end.

This role will report to the Global Enterprise Portfolio and Demand Capabilities VP.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience managing a wide range of stakeholders (including very senior) and collaborating to drive to the right answer without always having direct authority
  • CPG marketing experience, with significant brand strategy development and growth model / flywheel execution
  • Experience in a global environment preferred
  • Strong change management skills
  • Working effectively in a part-time virtual environment

What will be your key responsibilities?

The growth model director and analyst will:

Design:

  • Finish refining and finalizing updates to our growth model(s), through final round of research, brand pilots, and bringing together input from experienced experts across our organization. This will include finalizing the growth levers and their definitions, as well as key KPIs to measure brand performance against each, and articulating how where to play and brand compass choices flow into the growth model
  • Lead development of exemplary example of how brands in developed and developing markets can leverage the model to diagnose their brand’s health end to end and develop clear and structured value creation plans

Deployment:

  • Manage the process to deploy the new model, including but not limited to:
    • Developing impactful training materials and training plan; leading sessions to introduce and train users
    • Managing the development of a tool to automate KPI generation and performance monitoring, in partnership with D&A (data & analytics) and CMI (insights)
    • Lay out ways of working for market and global brand teams

Execution:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for markets as they bring the models to life in their market, helping them creatively work through any issues and challenges
  • Work with key markets and brands as they use the models – rolling up sleeves to help them put the model into use as effectively as possible, draw the most insightful and impactful conclusions, and maximize impact

Continuous improvement:

  • Continuously improve the model based on market experience.
  • Continuously improve and enhance the automation tools based on market experience
  • Evaluate impact of the model, barriers to impact, and opportunities to continually advance; report on those findings
