Pet Nutrition is embarking on a massive digital transformation journey to fulfil its ambition of becoming a digital leader in the consumer products industry. This ambition is supported by an unprecedented $1.2B digital Investment and an operating model shift towards an agile product-based organization to mobilize and deliver crucial digital priorities in the next three years.
This role will sit within the global Strategy and Transformation team with the broader aim of ensuring the sound delivery and management of Pet Nutrition's strategic portfolio and broader strategy with regard to digital. This role will report to the Portfolio Management, Delivery and Operations lead and be integral in setting up and leading the development of the products/ programs, scaling and reviewing process (including value realization monitoring) of Pet Nutrition's strategic portfolio against pre-defined goals and the overall strategy.
What are we looking for?
Education & Professional
- Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent (Business management or Economics degree preferred)
Knowledge / Experience
3-5 years of experience in product-based organization, preferably within product management and operations
Hands-on experience of working with/ within the product team, utilizing agile ways of working (Incl. working with backlog, scrum rituals, MVP concept and product demos, understanding the concept of DevOps, etc.)
Experience with key product-management tools like Jira, Confluence, BI software (Power BI, Tableau), Azure DevOps, etc.
Strong ability to relate expected business outcomes to associated digital product OKRs
Strong problem-solving skills, proven track record to get things done in a matrixed organization and influencing without authority
Ability to form productive relationship with both business leaders and digital leaders, product and program teams
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills, with the ability to present ideas/issues effectively, incl. up to senior executive management
What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead cross-OE and cross-product/ program dependency management: identify and drive the resolution of dependencies from an established process across product/ programs and OEs
Drive the Minimum Viable Product concept adoption, establish MVP product/ program delivery forum (e.g. Demo Days), ensuring products are primed for success and fit for scaling, work is demoed with relevant stakeholders and reviewed on continuously and at different governance levels
Establish cross product/ program OKRs (incl. leading and lagging indicators) and support reporting efforts to monitor value realization: ensure metrics are related to key business outcomes, are clearly measurable and appropriately cascaded. Lead the master dashboard build - "one source of truth" for business and digital
Drive performance management tracking and support in establishing OKRs (e.g., burn rate tracking): measure performance of a product/ program based on OKR performance, providing input to data-driven decision making
Review and evaluate current portfolio performance against defined strategy: build a natural cadence of reviewing and evaluating the current portfolio performance of the initiatives for strategic review. Assess our strategy on a bi-annual or annual cadence, including the learnings and findings from initiatives in the portfolio
