About us
We’re TUI, a leading global travel and leisure experience company counting 1200 travel agencies, around 130 planes, over 400 hotels, 16 cruise liners, various digital platforms for leisure activities, and over 60,000 brilliant colleagues worldwide. Our passion is making holiday dreams come true for our 21 million customers.
We provide unforgettable experiences, but we also believe in the good tourism can bring and we care deeply about our environmental impact. With projects in over 30 countries the TUI Care foundation builds on the potential of tourism as a global force for development.
At TUI we simply say 'Let’s TUI it'. For us, that means working together with a positive, can-do attitude. Our teams across TUI are just as diverse as our destinations. So whether you have lots of experience or none at all. No matter if you’re an accomplished tech whizz, an aspiring entertainer, or simply in love with flying. There’s a place for you here.
Flexible working at TUI Group
Flexibility at TUI means creating a culture of trust and passion that enables a sense of belonging for our colleagues, wherever they choose to work. We believe that having greater flexibility and choice over where we work, when it’s possible, gives us the opportunity to achieve a more balanced life. Here at TUI, we have a wide variety of roles so we have three workplaces -
Hybrid - Your main office is considered your work location but some or all of your work can be achieved working remotely. The frequency of office visits will be discussed and may vary from weekly to monthly or not required, depending on the role.
Remote - Your home address is your work location and you will be on a fully home working contract.
Onsite - Your operational job role requires you to work from a particular location or locations for the majority or all of the time. For example in a shop, airport or holiday destination.
Our offices are becoming places of collaboration, networking, and creativity. They are the anchor for our hybrid working model and will reflect our shared values even more strongly than before.
We launched our TUI WORKWIDE scheme in August 2021 so colleagues can work from abroad for up to 30 working days a year, for example in a holiday destination, their favourite city or another beautiful place. Since the launch, our colleagues have already spent a total of 4,500 days working abroad. From Spain, Morocco and Thailand to South Africa and Australia, there have been to numerous destinations. As one of the world's leading tourism groups, TUI believes that our work should reflect the fun, excitement and adventure of travel.
Approach to diversity & inclusion
At TUI, diversity, equity and inclusion is of upmost importance to us as we know people are as diverse as the destinations we send our customers to. Just as travel is about exploration, we are on a journey to make our work culture always more inclusive.
Spending time with us, whether you're at work or on holiday, enables you to relax and be yourself in a safe environment. We love to see your uniqueness shine through and inspire the future of travel and we encourage our colleagues to 'come as you are'.
Creating an inclusive culture is both challenging and fun – it requires us to step out of our comfort zones, but that’s when we grow personally and in our teams. A sense of togetherness and belonging drives our team culture. Our goal is to be all-inclusive – when it comes to our people and work culture.
We have numerous employee network groups set up for colleagues to come together as communities or learn more about including the Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Employee Network, LGBTQ+ Employee Network, Caribbean and African Employee Network, Muslim Employee Network, Jewish Employee Network, Hindu Employee Network, Disability Employee Network, Menopause Employee Network, Neurodiversity Employee Network and Family Leave & Returning Parents Employee Network.
