TUI Group

Travel

We’re a leading global travel and leisure company, making holiday dreams come true.

Travel

We’re TUI, a leading global travel and leisure experience company counting 1200 travel agencies, around 130 planes, over 400 hotels, 16 cruise liners, various digital platforms for leisure activities, and over 60,000 brilliant colleagues worldwide. Our passion is making holiday dreams come true for our 21 million customers.

We provide unforgettable experiences, but we also believe in the good tourism can bring and we care deeply about our environmental impact. With projects in over 30 countries the TUI Care foundation builds on the potential of tourism as a global force for development.

At TUI we simply say 'Let’s TUI it'. For us, that means working together with a positive, can-do attitude. Our teams across TUI are just as diverse as our destinations. So whether you have lots of experience or none at all. No matter if you’re an accomplished tech whizz, an aspiring entertainer, or simply in love with flying. There’s a place for you here.

NEW ACCESSIBILITY GUIDES FOR OUR TUI OFFICES

We now have detailed accessibility guides for 11 of our TUI offices. Our new Detailed Access Guides provide comprehensive information about our head offices, helping colleagues determine whether a space meets their specific access requirements. This initiative is all about ensuring everyone feels confident and welcome at work and this is part of our journey to build a more inclusive culture.  At TUI, we believe that when people can truly be themselves at work, we all perform at our best. That's why our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) vision is called "Come As You Are" which is a celebration of individuality and belonging. Our Group-wide DEI strategy focuses on three key areas:

1) People and Culture

2) Inclusive Leadership

3) Community

These pillars ensure everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered.

We've partnered with AccessAble and ReciteMe to make these guides even more accessible.  To view the guides, click here, then simply click on 'Accessibility' in the top right corner of the AccessAble website to open the ReciteMe toolbar, where you can:

- Customise colour contrast
- Adjust text size and font
- Change language settings
- Enable text-to-speech functionality

At TUI, we're committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive, because the best journeys are the ones we take together.

Approach to inclusion

At TUI, diversity, equity and inclusion is of upmost importance to us as we know people are as diverse as the destinations we send our customers to. Just as travel is about exploration, we are on a journey to make our work culture always more inclusive.

Spending time with us, whether you're at work or on holiday, enables you to relax and be yourself in a safe environment.  We love to see your uniqueness shine through and inspire the future of travel and we encourage our colleagues to 'come as you are'.

Creating an inclusive culture is both challenging and fun – it requires us to step out of our comfort zones, but that’s when we grow personally and in our teams. A sense of togetherness and belonging drives our team culture. Our goal is to be all-inclusive – when it comes to our people and work culture.

We have numerous employee network groups set up for colleagues to come together as communities or learn more about including the Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Employee Network, LGBTQ+ Employee Network, Caribbean and African Employee Network, Muslim Employee Network, Jewish Employee Network, Hindu Employee Network, Disability Employee Network, Menopause Employee Network, Neurodiversity Employee Network and Family Leave & Returning Parents Employee Network.

Flexible working at TUI Group

Flexibility at TUI means creating a culture of trust and passion that enables a sense of belonging for our colleagues, wherever they choose to work. We believe that having greater flexibility and choice over where we work, when it’s possible, gives us the opportunity to achieve a more balanced life. Here at TUI, we have a wide variety of roles so we have four workplaces -

Hybrid - Your main office is considered your work location but some or all of your work can be achieved working remotely. The frequency of office visits will be discussed and may vary depending on the role.

Homeworker - Your home address is your work location and you will be on a fully home working contract.

Location based - Your operational job role requires you to work from a particular location or locations for the majority or all of the time. For example in a shop, airport or holiday destination.

Field-based - Your role requires that you work outside a traditional office environment, typically at changing locations for varying periods ranging from days to months.

Our offices are becoming places of collaboration, networking, and creativity. They are the anchor for our hybrid working model and will reflect our shared values even more strongly than before.

Inclusion

One of the things I love most about working here is the supportive and dynamic work environment, where collaboration and innovation are truly valued.

Growth & Learning

I did my apprenticeship at TUI and then went on to do a bachelor's degree with a further education programme here at TUI. TUI is a very supportive company and my colleagues have been very understanding of my situation. There is a lot of laughter in the corridors and people like to do things together after work. It almost feels like a start-up company, but on a large scale.

Working Environment

The flexible working is a massive pro, even as a travel advisor the management team are so flexible and accommodating. The working hours can fit around children & families and we really are able to adopt the 'come as you are' working motto to our everyday role.
