Job Description

The salary for this role is £50,000 – £60,000

Are you an experienced Technical Business Analyst?

Do you have experience working with highly autonomous, cross functional teams, working to deliver complex Azure based applications and Infrastructure?

Would you like to work for a company that is passionate about safeguarding livestock in Great Britain?

Can you bring a great depth of Agile knowledge, as well as great problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills to a new position?

If so, we'd love to hear from you!

At Livestock Information Ltd, our mission is to be an outstanding service provider of livestock data, empowering government, industry, and farmers to effectively manage disease and infection control, whilst enhancing productivity and innovation in agriculture. To achieve this, we need great people, who share in our values.

As a Technical Business Analyst at LI, your day will be a mix of collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving. Picture yourself starting the day diving into detailed technical requirements, working closely with different business stakeholders to be the bridge between their needs and our digital services, so you will effectively manage meetings, emails, and brainstorming sessions. It's all about understanding what the business needs and then transforming that into a language that can be understood.

You'll spend a good chunk of your day designing and tweaking IT solutions, that not only meet our immediate needs but, are also sustainable for the longer term - think of it as solving puzzles and finding the best fit for every unique challenge.

In between, you are busy modelling business processes, maybe using BPMN or another cool framework that you’ve got up your sleeve. You're proactive and always on the lookout for ways to make things run smoother and more efficiently, so expect to spend some time analysing data and turning it into easy-to-digest reports and visuals that help everyone make better decisions.

You will also work collaboratively with the development team to make sure they are on track with implementing the requirements you've mapped out. And, of course, there are the regular catchups with product owners and architects to stay on top of roadmap priorities. Your day is a balancing act between tech, business, and people – and that’s what makes it exciting and fulfilling.
