Job Description

Virgin Media O2 (VMO2) is on an exciting digital transformation journey evolving the way we do business. In our digital & data arm, we are the agent of change leading the way and reinventing the status quo. Moving away from legacy systems and ways of thinking we’re leading the way within VMO2 on what it means to be a digital-first organisation, putting customers in the driving seat and becoming a truly data-centric organisation where every decision and interaction is based on data.

We're hiring for a Mobilisation Lead (Senior Technical BA with a twist!) to play an integral part in major and complex business and technology transformation programmes within the Digital & Data organisation. This role will work across multiple delivery portfolios to align technical solutions with business needs, collaborating with multi-functional teams and stakeholders, including executives, to support strategic business plans.

Responsibilities include progressing new delivery demands, contributing to business case models, and creating high-level impact assessments with partners and suppliers. The role also involves matrix management mainly across Business Solution Architects and Business Analysts and leading on mobilisation activities such as business relationship management, capex and opex planning, and business priority management.

Working closely with Subdomain Owners and Architecture teams, you'll lead multiple demand proposals and introduce new solutions into the delivery portfolio, ensuring alignment with the End State Architecture and technical strategies. You'll establish effective delivery approach, negotiate with vendors, and provide strategic feedback into portfolio investment strategies. The role requires shaping and defining structures for high-complexity deliveries, resolving complex requirements-related issues, and ensuring adherence to established architecture and governance guidelines.

Additionally, the Mobilisation Lead translates technical solutions into business-friendly language and validates high-level technical solutions against key business requirements.
