Job Description

Millions of people use Flexa to find a company they’ll truly thrive in, finding their perfect companies using our granular filters backed up by our unique verified data.

The way we work has changed forever. People care about more than their job description – they want to work somewhere that aligns with their values, their energy, and their ideal way of working. And companies used to rely on external recruitment partners and job boards to fulfil their talent attraction goals - now they want to build stand-out EVPs and promote their employer brands to access the best people organically and to grow sustainably.

There isn’t a single person at Flexa who doesn’t feel passionate about the Evolution of Work and our future-facing, ambitious view of the world shines through in our own culture as well as our product.

The role 🙋🏻‍♀️

Flexa’s marketing team plays a pivotal role in driving our growth and building a compelling and wide-reaching brand narrative. You’ll be joining a growing company of 18 where you can contribute to many “firsts” and work with us on our mission; to get every flexible company recognised.

We are looking for the person who can take Flexa’s social media accounts from 100s of thousands of followers to millions, and position us as the centre of the Evolution of Work movement.

We’re looking for a creative, analytical mind who thrives on making opportunities their own and learning quickly. This is a great opportunity to join a highly motivated, talented team where you can drive genuine impact and build a game-changing brand.

Core responsibilities 📈

  • Strategy development: Create and execute a social media strategy that aligns with Flexa's goals and brand. Manage how the social growth contributes to our overall growth, set and take responsibility for KPIs related to this
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for all relevant social channels (we primarily use LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok), this includes creating and editing video content.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with our B2B and B2C community to position Flexa as a thought leader in the future of work conversation and as the go-to place for building a career that reflects your values.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on the impact of social media strategies and adopt a test-and-learn approach to continuously improve.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our client teams, content marketer, design lead, and internal thought leaders to plan messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Influencer Marketing: Identify and collaborate with influencers to increase our reach and credibility within the industry.

The key attributes that we will be looking for in applicants 🔑

  • Previous experience with full management of multiple social channels (we primarily use LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok) from strategy, to creative, to analysis and experimentation. This doesn't have to be experience in a professional role, it could be that you've done it for yourself!

  • Someone who encourages a collaborative and positive work environment; whether you’re working remotely or on-site

  • An autonomous worker who is proactive and can get the job done, but who is always looking for opportunities to collaborate with others to improve their work

  • Goal orientated, with the hunger and drive to grow our social channels at a rapid rate, and someone who constantly challenges themself to learn and improve.

  • An understanding of how social growth contributes to our overall growth goals and success

  • A love of working culture, future of work, and how this is evolving

  • This isn't an easy role, and the more you give the more you'll get, so we are looking for someone who is social media obsessed, and will be relentless in the pursuit of growth.

Some nice-to-haves ✅

Our ideal candidate would also match at least a few of the criteria below. However, please don't be put off from applying if you don't match all of the below criteria. If you'd be brilliant at this role, please apply anyway.

  • You have experience managing D2C influencer campaigns

  • Experience running social media for a two sided product - we have both a B2B and a D2C audience.

  • Experience in managing sideways and upwards to coordinate team content and take advantage of the team’s personal brand’s and thought leadership

  • Experience in a start-up would be highly advantageous, but by no means essential

  • Ability to get into London regularly, we are a remote-first company, but we’d love you to take advantage of our creative studio in London, capture some great team content and work closely with our Director of Growth

What can we offer you? 🎁

  • This is an exciting opportunity to learn quickly in an environment that will support you while giving you the freedom to shape the role and our future.

  • Progression. We're a startup and an agile one at that! This role has the potential to progress quickly and influence what the Flexa product looks and feels like. We hire brilliant people and want to create an environment, and role, in which you will thrive.

  • Work with huge flexibility and enjoy a 4.5-day week! We all meet once a month, for a co-working day and a team activity, drinks, and dinner. This role is ideally London-based so you can take advantage of our studio and create great creative content with the team!

  • An awesome team that wants to enjoy work and each other's company.

  • WFA scheme - 45 days of working abroad and company shutdown periods; so you can work how and where you want to.

  • A culture that cares about output, not presenteeism. You will be given autonomy from day one, but we will always be here to help and guide you.

  • Employee share options scheme.

We are a fast-growth startup, so things can be busy, but we reward and recognise hard work, plus, it’ll be done with autonomy, and a lot of fun.

We believe that a flexible working environment is a more inclusive working environment, and we are committed to making sure that Flexa is as inclusive as possible, so please never hesitate to talk to us about your wishes, needs, and circumstances.
