THE ROLEThe responsibilities include authentication and intake of merchandise, supervision of consignment supervisors and specialists, coding payment requests, entering product information into our databases, and maintaining accurate records of confidential company information. Our ideal candidate has strong business acumen, keen attention to detail, and leadership skills to inspire your team while driving them to success.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will own management responsibilities over the New York Market Center Authentication in partnership with the NYC Area Manager focusing on the Authentication of merchandise
  • In partnership with the management and other key stakeholders, you will develop and execute Standard Operating Procedures and manage KPI reporting
  • You will appropriately report/record any discrepancies
  • You will optimize incoming shipment schedules and communicate activities to all stakeholders
  • You will enter the quantity received against the purchase order in the computer system and print the back order and inventory stock put away list
  • You will follow quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations
  • You will supervise and schedule of consignment team to ensure operational efficiencies
  • You will train team members in accordance with service standards
  • You will accurately code invoices, payment requests, etc., with correct data in accordance with company procedures, ensuring proper entry into the financial systems

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have retail experience (5+ years) and managerial experience
  • Strong knowledge of the resale market
  • You can lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs.)
  • You have experience with sneakers, footwear, streetwear, etc.
  • You have knowledge of Clienteling and Customer Relations
  • You are computer proficient in G-Suite, Excel, POS systems, ERP systems, etc

NYC WAGE TRANSPARENCY LAW

  • The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $50,000-$61.500/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
