Job Description

About us

An intro from Janos Venyigei, Senior Product Designer:

Do you possess a keen eye for detail and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the digital realm? If so, Cronofy, a high-growth, profitable startup, seeks a talented individual like you to join our team. As the only designer supporting the marketing team and the second designer in the company, you get to shape the brand and the look and feel of all our customer touchpoints.

Cronofy is used by high-performance teams to power scheduling at scale. To date, the majority of our customers have embedded our scheduling tooling into their SaaS offering using our APIs. In the last year or so, we’ve extended our product offering to allow business teams to access Cronofy’s scheduling from the applications they’re already using with the Scheduler.

We excel where scheduling is complex with multiple people and constraints, like recruiting, coaching and healthcare. We deliver immediate value by integrating scheduling tools into the tools people are already using, acting as a co-pilot to allow them to focus on performance.

Our business, and specifically the Marketing department, is growing and the design requirements are increasing as we increase our go to market efforts. The role of Graphic Designer will ultimately help service departments and teams to ensure we are creating visually impactful campaigns and marketing material.

The role

The Graphic Designer will be the visual drive, guiding the marketing team and developing design ideas to ensure that campaigns, content and landing pages are as impactful as possible.

With specifications taken by you, you will be creating compelling visual assets that will directly improve user activation and help optimise our product-led growth.

You’ll own everything related to visibility, and there is an opportunity to get involved in digital product design alongside the Senior Product Designer.

We’ve already developed our brand guidelines, and this role will assist in developing and maintaining these, as well as the design system to ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.

This position will report to our Senior Product Designer, however you will primarily have the Marketing department as your core stakeholders.

About you

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Graphic Design role, ideally with a product business or with an agency supporting product clients. A focus on B2B products is preferable.
  • Demonstrable experience taking, and articulating, design ideas and decisions to stakeholders
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. Video editing and animation is a big plus.

Your approach should have a bias to action rather than strict process, and we will be looking for evidence of understanding that design is there to serve a purpose, not just look nice.
This pragmatism will ensure you are contributing to the outcomes of our marketing and design efforts.

How we work

Our principles guide how we approach everyday.

We work hard but insist that everyone considers the balance between work and their life and responsibilities outside. We are direct in our dealings with each other. We continuously work to build mutual trust so that we can give each other feedback without fear of it being taking personally.

We can support a predominantly remote, office-based or hybrid working model. We do really value face-to-face time and, where circumstances allow, encourage teams to spend regular time together at suitable locations.

Hiring process

The goal is to discover what you will bring to Cronofy and what Cronofy will bring to you. It's as important for you to determine whether this is the right move for your career as much as anything else, so don't be afraid to ask questions. We value transparency and so are happy to answer (virtually) any questions you may have.
