Employee reviews

Go City's employees have anonymously had their say in what they think of the company

Everyone is so friendly and approachable. I also do not know many companies that offer a work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks in the year! amazing benefit from Go City!

Being able to pick and choose, without question, about how and where I work is a major benefit. I'm able to flex what hours I spend in the office to suit me.

Love the flexibility and ability to work a few days in the office or 100% remote. Simple things like receiving a delivery or popping into a kids recital for 15 mins are now possible during work hours. I find I get more work done from home (yeah no commute) but also really enjoy the connections when in office. the people are one of my favorite things about working here so its nice to see them in real life too!

Go City is a very fun place to work and also build on your carreer

A very friendly and relaxed environment. Rules around working in the office are also very relaxed, it often depends on what's best for the team, but also depends on your calendar that day, if you have a day with 6hrs of meetings you'd probably want to do that from home - and you can!

It also depends on public transport, and I love the fact that there is no pressure or strict rules - if you can't make it, the day still goes on!

Really strong, people-focused culture.

It's a fantastic place to work. Glad we crossed path in my career

It's really valuable that we truly embrace flexibility, it's not just lip service.

In my personal experience, I feel that a lot of flexibility is down to individual managers. I am fortunate that my direct manager gives me all the control over working hours/locations but I am aware that might not be available to everyone down to their nature of work.

I love our Ways of Working; very adult - adult.

I love how this company has helped me grow my career and given me the space to try new things.

Leaders walk the talk and practice what they preach. Being human is at the forefront of the culture. We're trusted to act as adults and are allowed to work in the way that works best for us whilst smashing goals - win win for both!

My work schedule and flexibility is a main staying point with me at our company.

About us

It’s all Go here. We’re on an amazing, shared journey towards being the go-to app for accessing the best experiences in the world’s top cities. That means we have top talent, and there are plenty of opportunities and exciting times ahead – we’re not shy about saying we’re an awesome place to work! Here are some of the reasons why we’re going places – and you will too.

Flexible working at Go City

With brilliant teams we can do brilliant things! We’re big believers in give and take. How we work needs to focus on flexibility and autonomy so everyone can thrive. We use five key principles to guide our approach, empowering us with freedom to choose, but grounding these choices in the best interests of Go City:

🌏 Stay connected

🌏 Focus on output

🌏 Lead with trust

🌏 Include intentionally

🌏 Take ownership

Approach to diversity & inclusion

We’re all different. Not everyone likes the same kind of city break. Some people want to tick off a list of museums. Some want to paddleboard. And some are happy people-watching in an authentic café. It’s all good. We actively celebrate difference and individuality. In fact, we believe that it’s the contrasts and nuances between people that give our business a fair and rounded perspective. Everyone is welcome. Everyone is respected. Our Diversity & Inclusion journey will never be complete, and we wouldn’t want it to be. There’s always more to do and embrace! All of this is championed by our colleague-led Celebrating You Committee.

"I love having the creative freedom to try things out and being trusted to be an expert. I really believe that being able to be ourselves at work has both commercial and emotional impact beyond the tangible measurements. Working for a Company that also believes in that concept is fab."
