Job Description

How you'll be contributing to Accurx as an Executive Assistant...

As an Executive Assistant at Accurx, your goal is to ensure that the day of those you support runs as smoothly as possible so they can focus on the company’s priorities and goals! You’ll support up to three members of our executive team, beginning with our VP Growth & VP Finance, with everything from prioritisation, to diary management, to managing inboxes.

Your day to day tasks, should you choose to accept this mission 🤝...

  • You'll assist with preparation of agendas and materials for meetings, taking minutes where required and following up on any action items.
  • You'll have the opportunity to get involved in lots of ad hoc projects. Examples in the past have included organising our summer conference, implementing mental health first aid training and introducing coaching to our senior leadership team, with many possible future projects in the pipeline.
  • You’ll also be a mentor and line manager to the more junior members of the team, helping them to grow and develop their own style of support to our leadership teams.
  • As part of Workplace Operations, you can expect to work alongside the Assistants and Workplace teams to create a collaborative and energising working environment for the whole team.

What the team say...

"I'm super excited about growing our assistant team here at Accurx. Whoever joins is going to be such an important part of that, and can really help shape our team's structure and processes so we can provide a high level of support!" Laura, Deputy Chief of Staff

If you want to hear from some of our Accufolk about what it's like to work for us, take a look at a video from our 2023 summer conference!🤩

We'd like to hear from you, if...

  • You have extensive experience working as a Senior Executive Assistant supporting individuals at the highest level in multiple organisations
  • You have previous line management experience.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and with different audiences on behalf of the executive team
  • You are experienced at managing busy diaries, correspondence and email accounts.
  • You have excellent time-management and organisational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative to tight deadlines, using judgement to make decisions and prioritise your workload.
  • You are able to think multiple steps ahead of those you support, actioning potential next steps before they’ve even considered them.
  • You have an exceptional attention to detail.
  • You are highly adaptable - to changing priorities, diverse needs of the individuals you support, new software systems, and able to handle the various challenges present in a dynamic workplace.
  • You're mission-driven: you care about positively impacting the lives of millions
  • You’re always collaborating: you place team success over personal success and you enjoy working in an open, collaborative environment.
  • You demonstrate responsible ownership: when you see something not working, you'll flag it and be part of the solution
  • You seek continuous improvement: you’re always developing new skills and insights, while exploring ways to do things better
  • You’re mindful of balance: you're conscious of your own health and that of others. You think carefully about how best to focus your efforts, knowing when to push yourself to reach a goal.
