Job Description

MCAPS (Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions) Finance team is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Administrator to support Partner-level Finance Leader(s), provide team support, drive key initiatives across the org and create positive employee experiences.

Candidates will provides strategic calendar management based on deep knowledge of business and Leader’s needs, while upholding the highest degree of integrity and maintaining confidentiality. Leads by example by demonstrating executive presence. Creates, builds, and manages annual rhythm of business (ROB), including fiscal-year calendar and Finance Leaders meeting schedule. Flexibility around scheduling & role hours will be required. Owns expense management for the Finance Leader(s) & works with Executive Travel team to coordinate travel arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic calendar management and time planning support for the Senior Leadership team of Microsoft The Netherlands.
  • Manages and owns calendar, meeting preparation, and logistics based on knowledge of manager and business needs.
  • Strengthens their network (internally and externally) across organizations to enable their team and leader's work.
  • Provides leadership and actively seeks out and participates in the Business Support community.
  • Leads team experience activities. Manages, plans, and develops events. Takes responsibility for event outcomes and demonstrates executive presence.
  • Leads by example and serves as a role model to Business Support colleagues by maintaining a positive attitude, demonstrating executive presence, influencing others, and encouraging self reflection during challenging situations.
  • Balances multiple complex projects and timelines end to end while maintaining executional and operational excellence within the division and across business groups.
  • Owns expense management including documentation, expense tracking, and policy compliance.
  • Partners with executive leaders and Chief of Staff on building and managing annual rhythm of business (ROB), including fiscal year calendar and executive meeting schedule.
  • Oversees space-management processes and team spaces, cascading space management vision to fellow team members.
  • Works with Executive Travel to coordinate travel arrangements for manager(s) and/or group.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.
  • Fluency in English language.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft 365 Suite, i.e. Office, OneNote, Excel.
  • Experience working with a global team across multiple timezones.
  • Experience supporting budget management.
  • Demonstrated experience of working across multidisciplinary teams on common deliverables.
  • Experience managing international travel.
