What you’ll do

• Ensure compliance with applicable national and international laws, regulations, standards, and Vodafone Group policies and requirements regarding money laundering, financing of terrorism and financing of the proliferation of mass destruction weapons.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations, providing timely guidance to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the AML Compliance Programme including customer acceptance, risk management, sanction controls, transaction monitoring, suspicious transaction reporting and training.
• Review and update compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct AML-CTF risk assessments and assist business functions in identifying, mitigating, and managing compliance risks.
• Conduct customer acceptance and due diligence reviews in line with regulatory and internal requirements
• Perform transaction monitoring activities to identify potential suspicious transactions.
• Review, investigate, and report suspicious transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform sanctions screening and related compliance controls in line with applicable regulations and Vodafone Group requirements.
• Ensure compliance with MASAK regulations, including asset freezing obligations and related reporting requirements.
• Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, management updates, and regulatory submissions as required.
• Develop and deliver compliance awareness initiatives, communications, and training programs across the organization.
• Support the continuous improvement of compliance processes, controls, and governance arrangements.

Who you are

• Having at least 5 years of experience working as an executive, specialist or auditing professional in financial institutions,
• Being registered in the MASAK Compliance Officer (MLRO) License Registry,
• Having knowledge about AML, KYC, sanctions and related regulatory framework,
• Having experience working with audit processes and regulatory authorities,
• Having a good level of English knowledge,
• Having problem-solving, analytical thinking and strong written-verbal communication skills.
