What are we looking for?
1 (one) Year contract role to ensure all business operations adhere to applicable Indonesian laws and regulations, as well as internal ethical standards and corporate governance frameworks.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) from a reputable university. Law degree is a plus.
Professional Experience:
5 years of progressive experience in corporate compliance, corporate legal, or regulatory affairs within Indonesia.
In-depth understanding of Indonesian corporate compliance requirements, and business governance frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Regulatory Monitoring & Compliance
- Track and analyze developments in Indonesian laws and regulations (including the Company Law, Omnibus Law on Job Creation, labor laws, taxation, and sector-specific requirements).
- Ensure governance and management of corporate compliance record
- Ensure operational alignment with highest ethical and law standards, including but not limited to compliance to Anti-Corruption & Anti-Bribery.
Policy Development & Governance
- Conduct periodic reviews of corporate documentation and operational guidelines to maintain alignment with national regulatory changes.
- In collaboration with relevant technical functions, ensure proper timely reporting is produces in accordance to government regulatory requirements.
Risk Management & Compliance Audits - Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks that could affect the organization’s reputation.
- Execute regular internal license-to-operate compliance audits and coordinate remediation plans for any identified non-compliance issues.
- Prepare periodic compliance reports for senior leadership.
Training & Compliance Culture - Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization.
- Regulatory Liaison & Licensing
- Serve as a point of contact for Indonesian regulatory bodies, government authorities, and ministry officials.
- Oversee the maintenance and renewal of corporate business licenses (including OSS RBA and NIB).
