Job Description

We have exciting new opportunities at Virgin Media O2 for Project Office Analysts!

Based within our Network Expansion division, Project Office Analysts play a pivotal role in the success of the B2B and Major Programmes team by means of extracting actionable insights from data to inform decision-making and drive business growth. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that provide valuable insights into business performance. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate findings effectively will be essential in guiding strategic decisions and optimising business processes.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Working with large datasets to source, build and transform raw data into accessible and relevant developments for B2B and Major Programmes onward strategic usage
  • Create, evolve and cascade daily/weekly/monthly performance data delivered in user and audience appropriate format
  • Apply data analysis techniques to explore and analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data to create actionable insight
  • Create, ideate, develop, manage, and maintain databases, where required and ensure data integrity
  • Working with operational teams to create, store and maintain process documentation data which will ensure the business is regulatory compliant and will aid with continuous improvement, efficiency, and optimisation

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a business or industry setting
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or others commonly used in data analysis
  • Strong proficiency in use of Microsoft software, specifically Excel for data and PowerPoint for delivering Insight
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI

We'd also love you to bring:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced matrix environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Having a passion and thoroughness in data analysis processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of results
