Anaplan Technical Manager

Job Description

The Finance team are on a mission to transform Virgin Media O2’s planning and forecasting processes through building automated driver-based planning models in Anaplan across all business divisions.

The Technical Owner will report to the Technical Lead who, working with the Product Owners, is responsible for the overall prioritisation and output from the Anaplan models for their respective business unit. The individual will also be part of an Anaplan development squad, responsible for running the models (e.g., month end, forecast cycles) as well as upgrades to the model.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with Finance leaders and product owners across the business to ensure the models deliver consistent and accurate volume and financial forecasts to feed into the P&L.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience of working within an FP&A role.
  • Managing complexity and working collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience of Anaplan or creating models for data.
  • Ability to driving continuous improvement of processes and means of delivery to stakeholders, whilst also embracing and managing organisational change.
