We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and innovative Social Media, PR and Influencer Executive to join the First Choice team to support across social media, influencer and PR activity.This role will supports the Social Media Manager with content creation and the daily running of the’s social media channels and support the PR manager with the ongoing roll out of BAU comms and press office activity.

ABOUT THE JOB

Social (70% of your time)

  • Support the general running of our social media channels, including planning, creating content (both on shoot and in the UK), scheduling, and publishing content, managing the content calendar, and aligning activities with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Keep up to date with current trends, create briefs for internal content teams or external partners, monitor competitor activity, and support monthly reporting.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams on community management, monitor customer sentiment and accumulate and utilise user-generated content (UGC) for posts.
  • Assist in day-to-day influencer logistics.
  • Act as a proactive member of a cross-functional social media team, working with wider marketing, content, paid social, customer services, and analytics teams, as well as external agencies.

PR (30% of your time)

  • Collaborate with the PR & Comms manager, agency partner, and TUI PR team to deliver PR campaigns and maintain an always-on press office.
  • Operate a proactive consumer press office, developing stories and angles to secure coverage in travel and lifestyle publications, while handling reactive media requests and monitoring coverage to meet KPIs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the travel and media landscape, build key contacts within the travel and lifestyle press, and assist in reactive reputation management and crisis support.
  • Help convey the First Choice story to key stakeholders through internal communications during major campaign moments.

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong communication skills with a flair for content creation, writing, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in social media systems and tools; knowledge of Adobe, Google, Smartly, Emplifii, and Sprout Social is beneficial but not essential.
  • Understanding of social media metrics and ability to derive insights from data.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced commercial environment with flexibility to changing priorities.
  • Previous experience with influencers and agencies is beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to identify suitable influencers, partners, and content creators that align with brand or project requirements.
  • A range of media contacts in lifestyle, travel, or consumer sectors is beneficial, or a demonstrated ability to build these contacts.
  • Relevant experience in social media, influencer, and PR or communications, ideally with some in-house or agency experience.
