Business Development Executive – Disrupt Marketing

Reporting Into: Senior Business Development Manager

Salary: 28k-32k + comission on every deal

As a result of agency growth and expansion, we are now seeking a Business Development Executive to work alongside our Senior BDM in our New Business Sales Team.

Your new role:

As a key member of our Business Development team, you'll be at the forefront of one of the most dynamic, exciting industries, that is the Creator Economy. You’ll play a key role in growing our agency through supporting the acquisition of new clients and projects. You’ll be meeting with CMO’s, Brand Directors and Founders to discover prospective clients’ needs in order to build out the best influencer marketing strategy!

You’ll be exposed to all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation, completing RFPs, pitches to negotiating, closing and onboarding new clients, working towards ambitious agency targets whilst providing a premium service and experience to our clients.


Your day to day duties:

  • Assisting with research to identify potential new clients, and develop conversations with both inbound and outbound prospects, through to pitch stage
  • Working alongside our Senior Business Development Manager, Pippa, across key parts of the sales cycle, from lead generation and sales pitching, through to client onboarding.
  • Qualifying and discovering brand’s needs and challenges to gain understand of how our agency solutions can support them to achieve their goals
  • Assisting in the delivery and preparation of our influencer strategy proposals, pitch decks and presentations to showcase our agency's offering and how we can help brands
  • Cross-collaborating with our awesome influencer delivery team and wider group strategists and to help develop our creative solutions on client projects.
  • Take on additional tasks and projects as needed to support the overall growth of the business.
  • Shadow and learn from senior team members during client qualification, discovery meetings and pitches.

About you:

While experience in influencer marketing is not essential for this role (as you’ll learn all about the industry in the role), a background in B2B sales/new business, client consulting and/or brand partnerships is a must.

  • You have proven experience in working to sales targets and can demonstrate wins in your previous roles

  • You have a genuine interest in contributing to the growth of the agency
  • You have proven experience in B2B sales in a relevant industry, with experience in influencer marketing/social media sales as bonus.
