Flexible working approach
Work is what we do, not where we do it. We believe in having a working environment where
we thrive and can do our best work - whether that is at home, in a coffee shop or in the office.
We make it matter. We focus on outcomes not output. We come into the office for a purpose
and to be present. We make the most of our time together to make the biggest impact.
Flexibility is a team sport. Communication is key to ensuring we are all where we are
needed at the right time. We work together to figure out what works best, we show up for each other and have a culture of autonomy.
We are team first. We can rely on each other, and we do what we say we will do. We trust each
other and work autonomously to deliver great work, no matter where we are.
Our culture is at the heart of what we do. We are all responsible for maintaining and evolving
our culture as a distributed workplace. Not one single person is responsible for our culture;
it’s born out of the people we hire. Together, we collectively contribute to who we are and what
we aspire to be; day in and day out, through how we treat each other, how we work together and
how we communicate.
We like to have fun together. We have an all company Friday wrap up online every week and monthly socials in and around our London Clubhouse. The teams have regular in-team socials too and new starter get-togethers to make sure everyone enjoys getting to know each other.
Freedom Fridays. We have a no meeting policy on Fridays and shorter hours. We encourage the team to use Fridays as a day to learn, seek inspiration, get creative and focus on the things they love.
Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.
Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want. The areas we cover are work-life balance / managerial support / flexible benefits / working environment / and many others.
