Job Description

We’re on a mission to provide equitable access to economic opportunity, for everyone.

We close critical skill gaps in the workforce through a new kind of apprenticeship that combines work and learning. We begin by recognizing high-potential individuals both inside and outside of a company's current workforce and then we create applied, guided and equitable learning programs, with measurable impact. Because we believe the world needs a better way to match its potential.

We work with over 1,500 leading companies including the likes of Microsoft, Citi and Just Eat to help solve their business-critical problems, and we’ve trained over 16,000 professional apprentices in the tech and data skills of the future. This is made possible by our global team who are driven to achieve a mission that matters, together.

Join Multiverse and help us set a new course for work.

Your mission

We need you to contribute to the future direction of our Multiverse product to ensure we are continually challenging who gets access to the best careers. We are building a product that supports people at different stages of their career, from those just starting out to those who have already built and established themselves.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across different areas of the product, from acquisition and onboarding, to all aspects of our learning journey. No two days at Multiverse are the same, so we need someone who is comfortable with the unknown unknowns. On top of that we’re looking for an all rounder who is equally as happy working on research and usability as they are designing solutions for internal and external users of our product. If you are inquisitive about the ‘why’ we do things, you live to prove and disprove hypotheses and you’re keen to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment, we’d love for you to join us during this exciting growth phase.

Once here, you will be

  • Designing products and features that are world-class

  • Conducting concept/usability testing & gathering feedback through user research

  • Developing wireframes and prototypes around customer needs

  • Finding creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)

  • Identifying a balance between ‘the right way to do things’ and the ‘right now we need to do things this way’ to achieve our goals

  • Collaborating closely with engineering to bring the design to life

  • Contributing to a growing Design System and design process

  • Staying aware and ahead of competitor product and industry trends

What you bring

  • You’ve got a deep understanding of UX principles and methodologies

  • You have proven experience as a Product designer, UX designer, UI designer or similar with a strong portfolio of design projects

  • You understand how to manage change, from identifying a problem to mapping out how to solve it, and executing that change

  • You’re familiar with interaction design and information architecture

  • You’re comfortable and able to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently

  • You work effectively in a collaborative environment and are comfortable with the nature of change within a growing organization

  • You’re proficient in design software (we’re using Figma)

  • You are happy to move between focussing on user experience and research with creating design solutions

Why Multiverse?

Apart from being one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe, we are working towards a social mission which we care deeply about. We’re also on a growth spurt within our Product team, and joining us now will give you the chance to help to shape the future of our organization.
