Insight into the role

We’re looking to hire a talented Product designer that can work autonomously in a well-disciplined design team. The individual will use initiative and work proactively alongside the noise of everyday activity.

The individual would be involved in every step of the design/product process to ensure customer needs are truly met and that we provide both suitable and satisfactory solutions.

  • User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain deep insights into user needs and behaviours.
  • Concept Development: Generate creative ideas and concepts that align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, and interactive prototypes to visualize design solutions.
  • Visual Design: Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and consistent with the brand identity.
  • Workshop facilitation – Host workshops that align, ideate and inspire thinking aligned to business objectives and user centric outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions.
  • Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to validate design decisions and iterate on feedback.
  • Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across all products and platforms.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our products remain cutting-edge.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Produce prototypes and test methodologies, assumptions, or hypotheses.
  • Design, iterate, and support existing products/features. Develop low-high fidelity concepts and working prototypes.
  • Understands working on atomic structures
  • Has experience with designing for UX and optimal UI output with dashboards or other operational/functional systems.
  • Analytical mind with an eye for business
  • Assist in maintaining exceptional standards within UX and UI.
  • Collaborate on research and user testing.
  • Maintain and contribute towards a user-centric design system matrix.
  • Proficient in mobile-first cross-platform design.
  • Present work to key stakeholders following company design principles.
  • Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
  • Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around customer needs, opportunities, and product solutions
  • Mentoring and working with less experienced team members

What value you’ll bring to the role

  • Hands-on experience as a Product or UX designer in a disciplined environment.
  • Experience taking broad, conceptual ideas and creating useful and desirable customer experiences that impact our business goals
  • Demonstrable experience making user-informed design decisions based on both quantitative and qualitative behavioural data.
  • The drive to identify problems and act on opportunities to improve the product offering
  • Experience working on designs for iOS and Android
  • Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and clearly articulate design decisions convincingly
  • Experience building and maintaining an enterprise-level design system
  • Proficient with Figma and Adobe suite.
