Global Head of Trade Promotion Management Data & Analytics (D&A)

This role is supporting the Shepherd/Digital First Transformation Program, and as a result, has an anticipated program end date of December 31st, 2027. Throughout your time in this role, we will have focused discussion around your development in support of your Best Next Move following the completion of this project. Should you be unsuccessful in securing an alternative role, your role may be at risk of redundancy. Should this occur, you may be eligible to receive separation benefits consistent with Company policies and practices.

As the Global Head of TPM D&A, you will lead a high-impact team to develop scalable analytics capabilities, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like AI and machine learning, to deliver measurable business value across markets worldwide.

What are we looking for?

  • Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 10+ years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in analytics
  • Minimum 3 years of analytics experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
  • Proven leadership in developing and implementing large-scale digital and D&A solutions, with deep understanding of Strategic Revenue Management (SRM), Trade Promotion Management (TPM), or Revenue Growth Management
  • Strong experience in delivery management of analytical products and translating business needs into scalable analytics solutions
  • Ability to integrate data-driven insights into business processes and decision-making
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with experience educating non-technical stakeholders and engaging executive leadership
  • Demonstrated success influencing in a matrixed organization without direct authority
  • Experience building and managing high-performing data and analytics teams
  • Skilled in managing relationships with external data vendors and analytics service providers
  • Strong project management capabilities, able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of CPG and retailer ecosystems, including use of third-party data sources, first-party data, and associate surveys

  • Executive stakeholder communication experience
  • Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and digital transformation initiatives

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead the delivery of data and analytics solutions for Trade Promotion Management globally, focusing on operational reporting and value creation
  • Drive adoption and impact of analytics capabilities through routine and advanced insights, identifying efficiency opportunities
  • Collaborate with global and regional SRM teams to elevate data maturity and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making
  • Oversee execution of the global digital TPM deployment strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and integration with sister growth products
  • Partner with CDIOs and SRM D&A leads to build a user-centric, integrated TPM/SRM analytics ecosystem across markets
  • Design and implement scalable analytics solutions aligned with product roadmaps and business objectives
  • Leverage advancements in AI and machine learning to enhance capabilities and user experience
  • Collaborate with data foundation programs to establish robust data strategies and governance
  • Champion product mindset and agile ways of working within the TPM initiative
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of D&A initiatives with business priorities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing D&A team, fostering collaboration and continuous learning
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure product success and business impact
  • Communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and provide training to product teams
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and governance standards, managing data risks effectively
