The Early Talent Program Lead will bring the Early Talent Strategy to life in the region through partnering the business to ensure signature Early Talent program meet business needs with a strong lens to ROI.

This person will be a strategic talent partner to regional segment and P&O (HR) leaders, using data and insights to design best in class program frameworks.

With a direct team, they will manage program effectiveness each year in line with regional strategy to strengthen our talent pipeline, develop critical capabilities and enable diverse talent to thrive.

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop and deploy regional ET program strategies in partnership with P&O and Business leaders to ensure programs and initiatives enhance value and support business growth, unlocking the right capabilities needed for Mars of tomorrow.

  • Lead harmonization of Early Talent programs in the region – with an eye to effectiveness and experience.

  • Use data and insights, both internal and external, to recommend new and modern ways to develop and retain the next generation of diverse talent.

  • Oversight of program operations, ensuring signature processes are deployed effectively, managing resources to deliver and acting as an escalation point where required.

  • Deploy end to end program or country activities to support ET Managers bandwidth during times of high workload.

  • Monthly reporting of KPIs to business leaders that drive insights and recommendations for positive change.

  • Talent Advisor to the business – partnering on talent pipeline and workforce strategy, working with segments to evaluate and ensure ET programs are driving the right succession outcomes & ROI.

  • Enabling ET Managers & Specialists in the team – building capability, engagement and managing performance to ensure effectiveness in executing signature ET processes.

  • Working alongside Regional Early Talent Lead to identify opportunities to drive engagement and high performance collaboration within the overall ET team.

What are we looking for?

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in HR or Business.

  • Line Management experience – has directly or indirectly managed a team of 3+ (preferably across multiple geographies/cultures) with a passion for coaching and people development.

  • Experience working in a regional matrix organization – organizational savvy.

  • Ability to influence and drive change with senior leaders.

  • Demonstrated track record in developing early talent frameworks, preferably across multiple geographies.

  • Ability to translate external and internal insights into breakthrough strategies that serve business needs.

  • Comprehensive written, oral and listening communication skills in English as a must.

  • German, French, Dutch or Polish would be an additional preference but not mandatory.
