Job Description
At Liberis, our mission is to empower small and medium-sized businesses by removing finance as a friction to growth, delivering contextual, embedded financial solutions to support merchants at every stage of their business lifecycle.
The team
As a marketing team, our job is to deliver best in class communications and frictionless customer journeys. We think creatively about how to have valuable conversations with our customers and make sure they understand our products.
You’ll join a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative team made up of enthusiastic and experienced marketers. Together, we drive leads and revenue for the business through impactful campaigns targeting both prospects and existing customers.
The role
As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our automation strategy. From acquisition marketing to lead nurture and even customer support, your expertise will be vital in managing all automation touchpoints, including email, SMS, web and emerging channels through Braze.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute automation campaigns: Create and execute personalised automation campaigns across various channels like email, SMS, and web.
- Martech stack: Own, maintain and improve our marketing tech stack. Act as a Braze superuser, and know the ins and outs of it.
- Process design: Identify, design, and document scalable processes that enable the marketing team to be more efficient and effective in their daily work and drive closer alignment within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop campaign briefs, define goals, and establish KPIs.
- Customer journey mapping: Understand and map out the entire customer journey with Liberis's product, identifying opportunities for automation.
- Communication: Be the bridge between technology and business. Be able to speak both languages and effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Partnership collaboration: Work closely with partner brands to integrate and automate marketing to their customer base.
- Compliance adherence: Work within legal parameters, including FCA & GDPR, ensuring all marketing communications align with regulations.
- Analytics and reporting: Analyse automation campaign performance and provide insights to optimise future strategies.
- Data management: Maintain and improve data quality within the automation platform, ensuring accurate segmentation and targeting.
What we think you'll need
- Experience: In either marketing automation, or in a combination of tooling and analytics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g. Braze, Sendgrid, Marketing Cloud or other), CRM systems, or data analytics.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights. A good understanding of database structure, data hygiene, analytics, and attribution. Knowledge of SQL advantageous but not essential.
- Hacker Mindset: Don’t be afraid to experiment, try new things and learn. You’ll need to be a problem solver who wants to work things out.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Legal Compliance: Knowledge of GDPR and related legal considerations.
