Job Description

Marketing Operations Manager

Let’s transform banking forever.

ClearBank is built on the belief that banking infrastructure shouldn’t slow down progress. Quite the opposite. Speed it up and that’s when you unlock potential. When you really start to innovate.

That spirit and ‘can-do’ attitude is why our clients – from FinTech's and crypto platforms, to banks and credit unions – choose to use our API to power their banking infrastructure.

But it’s our people who are the stars here. They power that innovation, push harder to break boundaries. They make coming to work (or working from home) fun. They’re the ones we trust to catapult our clients to success. Just as they trust us to build a business that’s always striding forward.

What you can expect:

ClearBank is a place where you can do things differently and challenge the status quo. We will give you a high level of autonomy and transparency, and we trust you to make the right decisions for the bank.

About the role

You’ll be joining the Revenue Operations Team as Marketing Operations Manager. Reporting to the Revenue Operations Lead, you’ll be a part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently.

We’re looking for someone to jump straight in to manage and ultimately be accountable for our implementation of HubSpot and the integration with Salesforce and develop the Marketing tech stack as it continues to grow. This role will be responsible for reporting on Marketing performance and supporting the development and execution of marketing automation strategies that drive engagement, lead generation and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience with HubSpot, Salesforce and other marketing automation tools, as well as a deep understanding of best practices and strategies.

Detailed responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop and own the Marketing technology stack to support ClearBank’s growing go to market activities in the UK and Europe

  • Act as a central liaison between Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations. Align campaign goals with commercial objectives and ensure smooth handoffs between teams through the improvement of lead processes

  • Support the Marketing and Sales teams with campaign execution, automation and workflows. Ensure accurate tracking of performance metrics and attribution

  • Build and execute email campaigns - client retention and lead nurturing programmes to drive engagement, generate leads, and revenue growth for a steady flow of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) at the top of the funnel

  • Own all marketing performance related data and reporting, including the development of campaign attribution and lead scoring processes

  • Provide training and assistance for the team and all new starters

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Marketing Operations and/or Demand Generation or Campaign Management

  • Strong working knowledge of HubSpot

  • Experience with, and a good understanding of, Salesforce

  • Solid expertise of Marketing KPIs and metrics

  • Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Data-driven and analytic with an interest in how we keep improving and maximise our activities, with experience in data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)

  • Knowledge of consent management and email marketing best practices

  • Understanding of regulatory environment and global compliance requirements

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Naturally passionate and curious about marketing effectiveness and operations

  • Collaborative and the ability to manage, actively engage key stakeholders across the revenue team and the business

What makes a great ClearBank team member? Does this sound like you?

  • You focus on solutions and positive outcomes, thinking radically and responsibly to find the best result for our customers, your colleagues and the bank.

  • You actively seek feedback from others to drive your growth and development, always assuming positive intent from others and develop strong, trusting relationships you’re your colleagues and customers: you really, genuinely care.

  • You always strive for the highest quality, but you know that done is better than perfect; you welcome a challenge knowing that they learn as you go and iterate.

  • ‘I’ before ’we’, isn’t in your vocabulary

*Regretfully we cannot sponsor applicants for immigration purposes at the current time.

What we offer in return:

  • We're flexible – We support a culture of flexibility which allows our employees to achieve a strong work-life balance.

  • Holiday buy/sell - Buy or sell up to five days of annual leave each year and shape your year around what matters most.
