I am so happy that the leadership team practice what they preach, actively encourage time off, with no shaming people for having care duties, life events that happen monday-friday, or questioning of sick days. The culture is truly centered on making sure your work works around your life, rather than the other way around. I believe that this encourages myself and my colleagues to go above and beyond because we recognise how rare and privileged we are to be trusted to work however works best.

Work-life flexibility was one of my main criteria when looking for a new role. Tyk seemed to promise everything I wanted - fully remote, totally async if needed, and unlimited leave to allow me to really enjoy life or take a day or two to recharge when needed. Over a year at the company later I can say that Tyk not only promised these aspects, but that they fully delivered. A fantastic take on work-life balance has been curated at Tyk.

I've never worked in a more flexible environment. It's not just about Tyk saying that we have flexibility - the leadership team demonstrate this in their daily working lives, and tell us about the opportunities they've taken to work in a way that suits them. That encourages everyone else to trust that they can truly take advantage of that flexibility. Saying it is one thing, but actually living it is something else.

I love it!

Tyk is awesome, very flexible with really friendly people.

I love Tyk, they have been very supportive always with everything. My daughter was sick for many months to the point that she needed to stay at the hospital for a week. One day we have to leave on a rush and my workload was completely owned by my colleagues and I got all the time I needed to take care of my little one. The flexibility also allows me to take care of the school runs and workout during the hours that I find more convenient, I own my schedule and I am the most efficient ever.

Absolutely love working at Tyk! It is truly default remote & flexible in every way.

Tyk's API Management Platform was established in 2014 and is helping to drive the connected world and power new products and services. We’re changing the way that organisations connect any number of their systems and services. Whether internal, external, public or highly encrypted systems, Tyk helps businesses drive value across the retail, finance, telecoms, healthcare, or media industries (to name just a few!)

If you’ve banked online, used an app to check the news, or perhaps even driven a connected car, API, and by extension, Tyk, make that possible. Founded in 2015 with offices in London, Atlanta and Singapore, we have thousands of users of our B2B platform across the globe. Brands using Tyk range from Audi, Dominos, Starbucks, to the Financial Times, RBS and Societe Generale. We have a varied user base hailing from every continent – even Antarctica.

Flexible working at Tyk has been important from the beginning, we're a flexible employer with a remote-first approach.

When Tyk was established, our founders realised that they would be in completely different time zones, raising young families, and decided from the outset that Tyk would be a flexible, fully remote company. You can work from wherever suits you, as long as you can attend your meetings with customers and colleagues. As long as you're happy, we are too!

For staff that want to connect or work in person, we have dog friendly offices open and available in London, Atlanta and Singapore.
