Tyk is great
Working at Tyk has opened me to new possibilities of exploring the world whilst working, and being completely supported to do so.
I love the fact that I can work from anywhere in the world. Feel like working from the beach/coffee-shop today? Just do it.
Working at Tyk has been great so far, the work life balance is excellent and you get enough room to make mistakes and grow from that.
Tyk offers great challenges and opportunities in a very flexible environment at the cost of never reaching your goals unless work-life tends very sharply towards work.
I really love the freedom and flexibility that our company provides. Having an unlimited holiday is really true and I never had this kind of time-off with my previous companies. This makes me cater to all the important business that I have especially when processing banks and government stuffs which are only open during weekdays.
Tyk is the most flexible place I have ever worked. Whilst many companies offer unlimited holiday or flexible hours/remote working, once you join you find the reality is very different - I was expecting the same thing at Tyk, but was blown away by how human this company is. I am so happy that the leadership team practice what they preach, actively encourage time off, with no shaming people for having care duties, life events that happen monday-friday, or questioning of sick days. The culture is truly centered on making sure your work works around your life, rather than the other way around. I believe that this encourages myself and my colleagues to go above and beyond because we recognise how rare and privileged we are to be trusted to work however works best.
Work-life flexibility was one of my main criteria when looking for a new role. Tyk seemed to promise everything I wanted - fully remote, totally async if needed, and unlimited leave to allow me to really enjoy life or take a day or two to recharge when needed. Over a year at the company later I can say that Tyk not only promised these aspects, but that they fully delivered. A fantastic take on work-life balance has been curated at Tyk.
I've never worked in a more flexible environment. It's not just about Tyk saying that we have flexibility - the leadership team demonstrate this in their daily working lives, and tell us about the opportunities they've taken to work in a way that suits them. That encourages everyone else to trust that they can truly take advantage of that flexibility. Saying it is one thing, but actually living it is something else.
I am working in the best company I could ever come across in the world. Cheers to being a Tykling.
I love it!
Tyk is awesome, very flexible with really friendly people.
I love Tyk, they have been very supportive always with everything. My daughter was sick for many months to the point that she needed to stay at the hospital for a week. One day we have to leave on a rush and my workload was completely owned by my colleagues and I got all the time I needed to take care of my little one. The flexibility also allows me to take care of the school runs and workout during the hours that I find more convenient, I own my schedule and I am the most efficient ever.
Absolutely love working at Tyk! It is truly default remote & flexible in every way.
