Director Executive Search - HR Exec Search

Salary: negotiable
Location: London is ideal; however, it can be anywhere in the UK, but will require frequent travel to London HQ

About Instant Impact Instant Impact are on a journey to become the Talent Solutions & RPO partner of choice for & mid-sized businesses. A critical step is to launch Impact X, an HR executive search and advisory arm of our business to allow us to better engage with buyers, particularly CPOs, HRDs, and Private Equity firms. About the role We’re looking for an experienced HR Executive Search professional to lead this exciting new venture. Uniquely, this role will focus both on building up the P&L for Impact X itself and for generating new RPO clients for Instant Impact. Providing a top-notch candidate experience and building deep relationships with a broad range of HR leaders will be key to success. You’ll be building on Instant Impact’s platform which will give you access to:

  • Our Centres of Excellence to help you generate candidates and put together high-quality designed collateral.
  • Technology to support a differentiated candidate go-to-market approach.
  • Brand recognition as part of one of the most innovative SME Talent Solutions businesses in the UK and the US.
  • Sales tools (HubSpot, Amplemarket, LinkedIn Sales Nav) and processes to support client generation.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Build a differentiated solution:

  • You’ll be responsible for continually improving our solution, working with key stakeholders (e.g. Private Equity firms) to solve their pressing HR challenges
  • As a new entrant to crowded market, we want to hone and define a clear USP focused on delivering additional value wherever possible to our clients. Our current focus is on:
  • Advisory services to help our clients improve their HR functions;
  • Running events and building a network of HR leaders; and,
  • Identifying emerging trends and technologies to integrate into the service offering to ensure that we’re at the forefront of innovative HR search.

Establish Impact X as a leading HR Executive Search and Advisory firm:

  • Build and run a profitable and exciting business stream, growing and leading a team to support the demand that you’re able to generate
  • Develop and nurture a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, referrals, and targeted marketing.
  • Lead business development efforts to acquire new clients
  • Build trusting relationships with HR leaders both as clients and as candidates.

Generate new business for Instant Impact’s broader Talent Solutions:

  • Explore whether RPO would be of benefit to candidates and clients that you’re talking with and make introductions where appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities to further expand our Talent Solutions offerings.

About you:

Required:

  • Desire to build and run your own business unit with the ability to thrive in an innovative and fast paced environment
  • Significant experience in HR Executive Search with a strong network of HR leaders in the SME space in the UK (and ideally the US)
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability with very strong project and people management skills
  • Proven experience of driving business change and influencing people
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Comfortable working with lots of different senior stakeholders.
  • You embrace change, are motivated by big challenges and are willing and able to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into any project big or small.
  • You have a passion for learning and love giving and receiving feedback!
