Job Description

Hofy is redefining the way organisations oversee their remote and hybrid workplaces and we are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Operations Manager with a solid understanding of core finance processes to join our talented finance team. The Finance Operations Manager will support overseeing the financial operations of our organisation. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership and analytical skills to contribute to the success and growth of our company.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, the Finance Operations Manager will work across all aspects of financial operations including Accounts Payable/Receivable ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.

In the role you will:

  • Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
  • Dive into all elements of month end tasks, understanding and carrying out the tasks with the Hofy Finance Manager in order to find efficiencies and improvements, including Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Receivable etc.
  • Be involved in working capital management, preparing cash flow analysis and presenting opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare the monthly and quarterly numbers analysis.
  • Identify improvements that can be made to financial reporting on both the Netsuite accounting platform, and the financial elements of the Hofy platform, and work with the engineering team to scope and deliver solutions
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken
  • Take ownership of the deliverables required for Hofy’s audit

What you need to succeed:

  • You’re qualified: You are ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Technical proficiency: You are proficient in Netsuite and have excellent excel capabilities.
  • You’re In the know: You have a solid understanding of core accounting and finance concepts and principles.
  • Motivation and discipline: You're a self starter with an eye for detail who self assesses before handing over for review.
  • Eloquence: You have great communication and presentation skills.

Bonus experience:

  • Experience working within a start-up or growing tech organisation would be a plus!
