Job Description

About Flash Pack

When was the last time you made a new friend? The quality of your relationships is the single most important factor for your mental health. Travel has a unique ability to fast-forward the friendship-making process, which is why we’re on a mission to create one million meaningful friendships using the power of travel and technology as a platform for human connection.

We create curated social adventures for solo travellers in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Since launching in 2014, we’ve seen impressive year-on-year growth and become the category leader in a thriving, rapidly expanding market with the majority of our business now in the US.

We’re well-funded, we’ve shaken up an outdated industry, and we see ourselves as a friendship company far more than a travel company. Our culture is down-to-earth, hard-working and compassionate, built by exceptional people who care deeply about doing work we’re proud of.

You can find out more about our culture and life at Flash Pack here.

The Role

We’re hiring a Content Marketing Executive to support execution across multiple marketing channels.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional content role. You’ll work across email, paid and organic channels. You’ll work closely with our Head of Content, Creative Strategist and Founder & CMO to turn ideas and plans into shipped campaigns, published content and measurable results.

This is a highly executional role that requires high attention to detail.

If you enjoy making things happen, improving processes and learning how marketing drives revenue, this role is for you. You’ll also have the opportunity for personal development in this role, getting to learn from our existing team and you’ll share their excitement in how AI is developing the world of Marketing to speed up execution.

In line with our salary framework, the salary for this role is £38,400 - £40,900, depending on experience. This is a full-time, permanent role; the working style is hybrid with at least 1-2 days a week from our London office near Farringdon.

Location & Working Style

This is a hybrid role. We’re looking for someone based in London, or easily commutable, as in-person time is important during onboarding and early development.

For the first few months, we expect more regular time in our Farringdon office to support learning, collaboration and integration into the team. After that, office time typically becomes more flexible and aligned around key collaboration days and campaigns (expect 1-2 days a month).

We care more about being able to work closely when it matters than rigid weekly attendance.

Where you will spend your time

As a Content Marketing Executive, you’ll work across multiple channels to help turn strategy into execution.

That includes building and scheduling email campaigns and flows in Klaviyo, supporting our SEO content rollout with our copywriters, scheduling and adapting content for organic social, moderating comments and engaging our community, reaching out to customers for reviews, supporting campaign launches, creating simple assets in Canva, capturing or editing light content where needed, and helping prepare materials for PR and partnerships.

This is an all-rounder role inside a lean team — you’ll be exposed to many areas of marketing, and your responsibilities will evolve as the business grows. We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable switching between creative and structured tasks, and takes pride in getting things live, on time and to a high standard

What we’d love to see from you

  • You are exceptionally creative and have tried your hand at all forms of content: from Instagram to Facebook, from white papers to email copy, from blogs to website landing pages.

  • You are someone who enjoys tracking content and campaign performance and using feedback to shape future work.

  • You are someone who is excited by AI tools and can use them to scale and refine your output.

  • You are someone who is curious about performance marketing and eager to learn how creative impacts ROI.

  • You have a growth mindset and a hunger to level up every month. You are hard-working, proactive and comfortable receiving and acting on feedback.

  • You are curious and data-led. You know that you’ll often have to refine campaigns based on signals and are driven by evolving concepts and campaigns.

  • You give your point of view have improved ways of working. You helped teams to see the bigger picture and been able to refine processes so you can all work smarter and more efficiently.

  • You can give structure to ambiguity; you are able to take on loose ideas, ask the right questions and get clarity so you can fulfil your work autonomously.

  • You are commercially literate and can translate performance success into metrics, not just vibes and ideas.

  • You take ownership of your work and know your specific contribution to projects and the role you play in a team

  • You’re naturally creative, maybe you run your own blog, have a niche Tik Tok account; you’re a prolific writer on Substack. We really want to see what interests you!

  • You have been a channel owner and/or have proven success of growing and scaling that channel with high attention to detail.

Bonus if you:

  • Have created content for your own social channel or blog

  • Have worked with email automation

  • Have basic knowledge of SEO principles

  • Have created video content / can edit.

We’re after the right person and if you don’t quite hit all the criteria, we’d still encourage you to apply.
