Flexible working approach
At Hurree, we strive to promote a flexible workplace for all of our employees.
We are committed to a healthy work-life balance through our flexible core-working hours of 10am to 4pm, and the opportunity to work remotely as and when required. With a range of various contract types, including full-time and part-time remote options, our dog-friendly office is based in Belfast but we currently employ staff from all across the UK and Europe.
Our staff have access to a range of employee discounts from a number of retailers through Perks Directory, a subscription to online education platform Masterclass, and regularly enjoy fully expensed social events. We also offer a generous annual leave allowance of 35 days (this includes bank holidays) and an enhanced parental leave package.
With our top tier private health and dental care plans, as well as on-demand therapy available from Spill, we truly want to prioritise the mental well-being of each of our employees.
Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.
Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want. The areas we cover are work-life balance / managerial support / flexible benefits / working environment / and many others.
"I feel working in Hurree has been eye-opening in comparison to working at corporates previously. I feel valued as a person, rather than just viewed as a number. The leadership is excellent. I wouldn't want to work anywhere else at the moment or in the near future."
Anonymous Hurree Employee
What do we think of Hurree?
Hurree were brilliant throughout their flexible employer accreditation. They achieved quite a rare feat by achieving a higher score in their anonymous employee survey, compared to the employer benchmarking. This shows us that the employees are even more happy and satisfied with their internal working environment than their employer may realise. It's a win for everyone!
