The Role:

The way people discover, evaluate, and trust B2B software is changing fast. Search is no longer just ten blue links. Buyers are asking AI. They’re reading summaries generated by models that have decided — without your input — whether your brand is worth mentioning.

This is not a traditional content marketing role. You’ll be the architect of ScreenCloud’s content function: building agent-assisted workflows, directing AI systems, and producing the output of what would traditionally require a much larger team. You’ll own the content programme across the full funnel — from SEO-driven organic acquisition through to sales enablement and thought leadership — and you’ll bring both the craft and the systems thinking to make it work.

That means being as comfortable discussing keyword architecture and GEO (generative engine optimisation) as you are writing a compelling customer story. It means building and owning the content operations stack: tools, prompts, automations, and quality controls. If your instinct when faced with a new content need is to design a system rather than write a brief, you’ll fit here.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the editorial content programme — blog, long-form guides, case studies, newsletters, landing page copy, and sales enablement assets

  • Build and execute an SEO strategy that improves organic visibility for ScreenCloud’s target keywords and buyer personas

  • Develop and implement a GEO approach — structuring content to be surfaced by AI-powered search tools including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews

  • Design and maintain AI-agent workflows for content production, repurposing, and distribution — building systems that run at scale without manual intervention per piece

  • Own the content operations stack: tools, prompts, automations, and quality controls

  • Define briefing standards and editorial governance for AI-assisted output — acting as editor-in-chief across human and AI-generated content to maintain brand voice at scale

  • Commission, brief, and edit content from freelance contributors and subject matter experts

  • Build a content repurposing system: one asset, multiple formats, multiple channels

  • Track content performance against funnel metrics — organic traffic, engagement, and content-influenced pipeline

Requirements:

  • You’re an exceptional writer — clear, credible, and capable of adapting voice and format to context

  • You have 3+ years in content marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS

  • You have excellent working knowledge of SEO — keyword research, on-page optimisation, content architecture, and link strategy

  • You think in workflows and systems before you think in tasks: your first question is “how do I build this so it runs without me?”

  • You’ve built or used AI agent pipelines (n8n, Make, LangChain, Claude tools, or similar) — not just AI writing assistants

  • You’re comfortable being the human in a content function: you know how to staff around yourself with tools, not people

  • You understand GEO — or you’re ready to become the team’s expert in it

  • You’re data-driven: you track what works, cut what doesn’t, and adjust your strategy accordingly

  • You can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing quality or missing deadlines

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with SEO platforms (Semrush, Ahrefs, Clearscope or similar)

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and web publishing workflows

  • Background in workplace technology, HR tech, or enterprise SaaS

  • Experience producing content for both HR/Internal Comms and IT/Ops buyer audiences
