Why this job matters

As part of our newly established Strategic Partnerships & Marketing function, this is a vital role in shaping how BT International is positioned and perceived across international markets. In a complex and competitive environment, content is more than just communication, it is a key driver of influence, reputation, and commercial growth.

You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of high-quality creative content, supporting the full customer journey from awareness and acquisition through to in-life engagement, upsell, and retention. Working closely with sales, product, partnerships, and leadership teams, you will translate briefs into compelling, brand-aligned content that is tailored to the audiences that matter most.

This is a hands-on role bringing BT international to life across a range of formats including presentations, event collateral, documents, thought leadership and other marketing collateral.

You will help maintain consistency, clarity, and quality across all customer-facing assets. This role sits within marketing function and plays an important part in strengthening how BT International engages its audiences and delivers impact across global markets

What you’ll be doing – your accountabilities

  • Work in alignment with the Brand Studio to ensure all content adheres to established brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity standards
  • Create and deliver high-quality content across both copywriting and creative design, including presentations, event materials, documents, thought leadership, and other marketing collateral
  • Translate briefs from stakeholders into clear, compelling, and fit-for-purpose creative outputs across multiple formats
  • Manage and maintain content assets, ensuring materials are structured, accessible, reusable, and appropriately version-controlled
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all outputs through thorough review, proofreading, and refinement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand Studio, product marketing, partnerships, and leadership to understand requirements and deliver effective content solutions
  • Manage timelines and priorities across multiple requests, balancing workload while maintaining high-quality output
  • Act as the primary liaison with external creative agencies and specialist partners where additional expertise is required, providing clear briefs, direction, and feedback to ensure alignment with internal standards
  • Support governance by ensuring all content follows appropriate approval processes and meets compliance requirements
  • Apply emerging tools and technologies, including AI-assisted content creation and optimisation approaches, to improve productivity, consistency, and scalability of content production
  • Contribute to the sharing of best practices and continuous improvement of content processes, templates, and ways of working across the team

Skills required for the job

  • Copywriting & messaging: Ability to write clear, concise, compelling content across multiple formats and audiences
  • Creative design capability: Experience creating visually engaging assets for presentations, documents, and marketing materials using design tools
  • Content creation & adaptation: Ability to translate briefs into well-structured, fit-for-purpose content across formats
  • Attention to detail: High standards for accuracy, consistency, and quality
  • Content organisation & asset management: Experience managing content libraries, templates, and version control
  • Agency and partner management: Ability to brief and review external creative partners to ensure alignment with standards
  • Time and workload management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Quality assurance & governance: Experience reviewing and ensuring content meets approval and compliance requirements
  • Adaptability and problem-solving: Comfortable responding to changing priorities and finding practical solutions
  • AI and content tooling awareness: Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation and optimisation approaches to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Continuous improvement mindset: Proactive in improving content processes, templates, and ways of working
  • Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Global outlook: Experience in international content or marketing roles is a strong advantage

Experience you’d be expected to have

  • Strategic storytelling: Proven ability to craft and deliver content that resonate with C-level audiences, driving engagement and influence.
  • Agile creativity: Skilled in fast-turnaround content and creative that responds to real-time trends and compelling industry events.
  • Executive content leadership: Comfortable operating in senior stakeholder environments, with the ability to shape clear, strategic narratives and provide high-quality content support for leadership communications.
  • Commercial awareness: Understands how to turn brand and creative strategy into measurable impact from awareness to pipeline contribution.
  • Outside-in thinking: Brings audience, market, and customer insight into the creative process to ensure content is relevant, resonant, and impactful.
