About the role
We’re looking for a highly motivated marketer to join the Deliveroo Italy marketing team, who will report to the Senior Brand & Media Manager, to support the planning, execution, and optimization of Deliveroo’s digital marketing activities.
The ideal candidate will work closely with local and global teams, media agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive brand awareness, traffic, new customer acquisition, conversion and campaign effectiveness.
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on brand builder who loves experimenting, iterating, and making things happen. You have a passion for all things marketing — growth, loyalty, e-commerce — and a strategic mindset for solving business challenges. You’re a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity in fast-moving, ever-changing environments.
What you'll be doing
Digital Media Planning: Support the goal setting, planning and allocation of digital media budgets, working closely with our local media agency and global performance marketing team.
Media Strategy Execution: Contribute to the implementation of multi-channel media strategies, coordinating with both local and global agencies to execute integrated brand and growth campaigns. Proactively drive tests and continuous fine tuning.
Creative Production Coordination: Collaborate with local and global brand teams and localization teams, providing clear briefs and feed-backs in order to secure the creative production is effective and aligned with the campaign goals
SEO: Collaborate with Central team and act as a POC to ensue the best possible SEO performance and continuous monitoring.
Project Planning & Reporting: Define and agree goals, plan, monitor, and track campaign activities, providing regular performance updates and actionable insights.
Measurement & Optimization: Work with the BI and Data Science teams, as well as other key stakeholders, to analyze campaign performance, measure impact, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
5 years of proven experience in digital marketing or media planning (agency or in-house).
Strong understanding of digital channels (paid social, search, display, video, affiliation etc.) and good knowledge of the Italian media landscape.
Solid hands-on experience in using and managing complex account structures across Meta Business Suite, Google Ads ecosystem and Tik Tok business center.
Experience in actively using full-funnel campaigns such as Google P-Max as well as structured A/B testing experimentation is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
Highly skilled in the English language, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong skills in planning, prioritizing, and executing multiple projects simultaneously. Able to focus on high-impact activities and ensure complex projects stay on track.
Self-starter mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and change, and motivated by working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven experience collaborating effectively in a cross-functional environment, with agencies and internal teams.
