An opportunity to play your part – If successful, your role as Governance & Assurance Analyst will include setting up and maintaining effective processes, quality controls, and governance systems that underpin all operational functions within DTS. You will be at the forefront of coordinating and leading important governance meetings across DTS. Furthermore, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of operational data, which is crucial for informed decision-making and process optimization.

The day to day –

  • Offer business analysis support to enhance the governance and assurance for the Continuous Service Improvements Framework
  • Initiate service improvements within process and assurance, aiming for industry-leading service.
  • Develop and manage plans/actions to drive process improvements.
  • Act as a deputy for the Head of Operational Performance and provide cover for peers.
  • Keep track of the Governance platforms within DTS
  • Collaborate closely with the reporting team to understand customer requirements and provide insightful data.
  • Coordinate the creation of new dashboards and improvements to existing ones to enhance service performance and process adherence.
  • Manage the people dashboard and resource tracker.
  • Aid in improving Service Management processes and tools across DTS.
  • Provide tangible assurance of process and performance across Service Management ITIL processes.
  • Contribute to the DTS risk register, ensuring it is effectively maintained and managed.
  • Contribute to lessons learned to enhance Service Management effectiveness.
  • Manage Standards across DTS, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate, and identifying any gaps.
  • Contribute to Management Reporting and provide valuable insight and analysis through status reports where relevant.
  • Support the SMF24 Statement of Responsibilities across DTS and Technology teams/CERTS under the Senior Management Certification Regime (SMCR) to ensure it is accurate and fit for purpose.

  • Superior customer service abilities
  • Exceptional organizational and coordination skills, with the capacity to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and juggle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Capability to maintain a sharp focus on achieving outcomes that meet professional and quality benchmarks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Solid understanding of IS Operations and key processes.
