Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our Data Democratisation team. Reporting to the Head of Data Governance, this role is responsible for creating and rolling out a Data Governance framework that enables our Data Democratisation strategy. We are looking for someone who will not just roll out the textbook but will really understand our business and think creatively about how data governance can best support and enable our ambitious plans. Although we are focussed on the framework you will also have a good understanding of the latest technologies available to deliver highly automated data governance capabilities. The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:
- A proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing a data governance in a cloud environment
- Agile expertise and good knowledge of Jira
- Broad knowledge and deep practical experience in data management disciplines
- Innovative with commercial focus
- Proven experience of working effectively with stakeholders in specialist and technical roles, including Data Engineering and IT Architecture
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- Proven experience of working collaboratively across boundaries to secure buy-in and create solutions that work for all stakeholders
- Experience working with Atlan, Monte Carlo, and Tableau
