Location – flexible however you will be required to attend one of our offices once a month for meetings and to collaborate.

The Demand Planning Manager designs & operates demand models for all aspects of BG Services and Solutions Customer Fulfilment including all contact demand (voice, chat, WhatsApp, social media), as well as complaints and including all outbound contact.

You will forecast our customer contacts from a long term outlook right through to each interval and calculate the FTE required to handle those contacts on a consistent basis within our pre-agreed service level objectives to ensure our Customers receive an excellent speed of service from us, regardless of when they chose to contact us and on regardless of which contact channel they use.

This is a critical role within our Resource Planning function as you will ensure that all assumptions that are used in our models are challenging whilst realistic and agreed up front by our Operational Stakeholders and you will ensure that all transformational benefits and Commercial plans are sized and phased accurately and embedded accurately into our plans and you will track delivery against all and flag any barriers to our success in a timely manner.

You will lead a team of demand planning specialists ensuring they are motivated, engaged and skilled to deliver on behalf of the business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Defines, & develops and manages demand propensity models, linked to internal and external data sources, to create all workload demand forecasts

  • Owns the relationship with Customer & Commercial partners to understand new products & propositions impacts on demand

  • Manages the operation of modelling against demand planning scenarios to support risk assessments and mitigation planning

  • Lead the Demand BGOP process for CF, shares with stakeholders to achieve consensus and signoff for demand forecasts across Customer Fulfilment and Commercial.

  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns, and prepare ongoing reports and data visualisation to support business decisions.

  • Support the planning function with new strategic changes, including Amazon Connect implementation, POD ways of working, New Services stack, understanding the impact on planning and joining working and steering groups to become the voice of planning.

  • Manages the assessment of changes to demand from change initiatives

To succeed in this role you should be able to demonstrate strong experience of budget preparation as well as internal & external environment analysis, data management & analytics as well as data modelling, design and visualisation and predictive modelling.
