Our Wholesale business supports over 1,000 communication providers and channel partners who resell our connectivity and mobile services through our Fixed, MNO and MVNO sales divisions.


The Wholesale marketing team drives awareness, conversion and loyalty for Wholesale customers through a segment-specific marketing plan, delivering all segment specific ATL & bottom of funnel activity including segment specific events. Working closely with the other marketing functions and the external comms teams to deliver our campaign requirements.

We also ensure our Wholesale sales teams are enabled with content that helps them create and close opportunities, keeping them updated through the Unify sales portal. We also provide support for our partners who resell BT’s portfolio through our Partner Programme, consulting on marketing activities and supporting through a marketing development fund, white label campaign assets, industry expertise and events.


As a Wholesale Marketing Professional, you will support all engagement and communication activities for the segment. You will have an understanding of customer needs and develop content that will drive brilliant customer engagement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including our Partner Programme, commercial, sales and other marketing specialists to create compelling messaging, communications, events & initiatives that drive customer engagement, upsell our portfolio and grow our Partners business, and in turn our revenue.

What you’ll be doing

  • Work with Marketing Manager, commercial/props to define Wholesale engagement plans including our Partner Programme.
  • Delivery of customer engagement activities including newsletters, email and customer nurture journeys, working closely with the Digital Marketing team to execute activities.
  • Support delivery of a busy customer event calendar, including webinars and large face to face events.
  • Develop and deliver content required for engagement campaigns.
  • Work brilliantly with cross-functional marketing teams to deliver the engagement plan.
  • Briefing of agencies and in-house teams for the creation of content.
  • An excellent eye for detail, reviewing data, insights and KPIs to refine and optimise activity ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Pipeline tracking and won revenue tracking programmes.

Skills and Experience

• Great organisational and planning skills with good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to provide excellent written material which is clear, concise and compelling
• Stakeholder management: managing internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on projects, under pressure and to deadlines
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to develop effective customer engagement strategies.
• Customer centric thinking: understand customer pain points, needs and preferences to tailor marketing messages
• Analytical and able to interpret data and KPIs to make recommendations


Experience you would be expected to have


PREFERRED
• Previous experience working in a B2B role – preferably within a marketing team
• Experience in customer centric product content creation
• Experience in supporting & partnering a high performing sales teams
• Demonstrable commercial experience, encompassing marketing lifecycle management (lead, adoption & retention)
• Experience of managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders and Partners
