This role is key to BT's strategy to grow its market share with corporate customers in the private sector. Your efforts will directly contribute to BT's business growth and success through the acquisition of new business opportunities that drive our revenue and market share.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identifying new business opportunities by recommending and shaping the pipeline based on market trends and white space.
  • Focusing on early-stage opportunity identification and qualification, and possessing full sales cycle ownership
  • Building relationships, engaging with and influencing stakeholders in relevant verticals
  • Value proposition design - feeds insight to refine messaging for nurture campaigns based on buyer insight
  • Conducting market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and customer needs
  • Identifying procurement routes and timelines, helping shape early positioning.
  • Stakeholder engagement across the region or vertical, building net new relationships

What we would like to see on your CV

  • Significant experience in sales or business development
  • Track record of winning major acquisition business with corporate customers
  • Telco/ICT or technology sales industry experience is preferable
  • Has experience in gaining access and building new relationships at executive level
  • Navigates ambiguous, early-stage opportunities

Flexible working
