1-2 days per week at home
A little flex time
Our mission is to provide the best renting experience in the world.
Before Goodlord, renting a property was a complicated, time-consuming process for every person involved - agents, tenants and landlords.
There were application forms, referencing forms and contracts that took precious time to manually complete, sign and file. Meanwhile, the lettings industry was rapidly changing, with the arrival of online competitors, new legislation and the evolving expectations of landlords and tenants.
Agencies needed a more efficient way to manage the lettings process, improve their customer experience and create new revenue streams - so we started Goodlord.
Flexible working approach
At Goodlord, we put people first. We want everyone to bring their whole selves to work, and we aim to provide the best possible environment to do that in.
Flexibility varies by department, for example the Insurance sales team is fully remote with flexible hours, the Referencing team are fully remote on a shift basis, and Engineering teams can be fully remote or a hybrid.
We are always open to discussions around flexible working, or working flexible hours around core hours if the job allows that. Some roles can be even more flexible than that, so please do just ask us!
Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.
Employee benchmarking score
Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want. The areas we cover are work-life balance / managerial support / flexible benefits / working environment / and many others.
I feel I have a brilliant balance between working hard and still enjoying my own time, without feeling stressed or worrying about work. - Development Manager at Goodlord

Goodlord's growth has been remarkable for such a young company, but it's clearly not just company performance that matters! With unlimited leave, a flexible approach to hours & working from home, I think that Goodlord is a brilliant place to work if you're looking for a flexible role in a top tech company.
