Job Description

Company Description

We're ASOS, the online retailer for fashion lovers all around the world.

We exist to give our customers the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you're free to be your true self without judgement, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.

Everyone needs some help showing up as their best self. We're Disability Confident Committed - let our Talent team know if you need any reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process.

Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Partner is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for leading a team of 3 Recruiters and shaping the hiring strategy across ASOS's Technology and Digital Product functions. You'll work closely with business leaders and stakeholders across the business to shape hiring strategies, build high-quality talent pipelines, and ensure ASOS continues to attract exceptional talent into some of its most business-critical functions.

Alongside delivery, you'll play a key role in evolving our hiring approach, partnering with PX colleagues and Centres of Excellence to drive continuous improvement, enhance assessment methods, and create outstanding candidate and hiring manager experiences.

The Details

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 3 Recruiters, creating a high-performance culture focused on quality, pace and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Own and deliver end-to-end recruitment across Technology and Digital Product teams, ensuring a high-quality hiring experience from attraction through to offer acceptance.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders to define hiring strategies, workforce plans and talent priorities aligned to business objectives.
  • Manage and develop the relationship with ASOS's Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring the effective delivery of contractor hiring across Technology and Digital Product functions.
  • Build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines across specialist and leadership-level disciplines.
  • Shape and optimise assessment approaches to ensure robust, fair and future-focused selection processes that align with ASOS values and culture.
  • Partner with Senior PX Partners and Talent Centres of Excellence to provide market insight, hiring intelligence and workforce planning recommendations.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices, ensuring diverse attraction strategies and equitable assessment processes.
  • Elevate the ASOS employer brand in the market, identifying opportunities to strengthen candidate engagement and awareness across target talent communities.
  • Leverage data and insights to inform hiring decisions, influence stakeholders and measure recruitment effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes, embracing technology, automation and innovative hiring solutions to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing guidance and challenge to support effective hiring decisions.
  • Support wider Talent Acquisition and People Experience initiatives, contributing to cross-functional projects and organisational priorities.

What's in it for you

ASOS is transforming how customers discover, shop, and engage with fashion through personalisation, dynamic content, AI-generated recommendations, and a broader shift towards agentic AI and automation. This role provides the opportunity to hire and build the Engineering, Product, Design, Solution Specialist, and Leadership teams driving that transformation. It is a strategic Talent Acquisition position with direct influence on the technology capabilities, talent strategy, and innovation agenda shaping our future.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team where continuous learning and development are encouraged, and you’ll be given real empowerment to innovate, experiment and influence how Talent Acquisition evolves.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner, Talent Acquisition Manager or similar in-house recruitment role, with significant experience hiring across Technology and Digital Product teams (essential).
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting senior-level talent in fast-paced and commercially driven environments.
  • Previous people management experience, with a track record of coaching, developing and leading high-performing recruitment teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to partner with and challenge senior leaders where appropriate.
  • Experience designing and implementing robust, data-informed and technology-enabled assessment processes.
  • Strong understanding of talent mapping, attraction strategies and pipeline development across specialist skills markets.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build credibility and trust at all levels.
  • Experience using recruitment data and market insight to influence hiring strategies and workforce planning decisions.
  • A passion for inclusive hiring and a proven track record of attracting and engaging diverse talent.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic partnership with hands-on recruitment delivery.
  • Resilient, adaptable and able to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Strong interest in leveraging technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions to enhance recruitment outcomes and candidate experience.
