Job Description

Join us

At Vodafone, we’re not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers — we’re shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you’re part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world.

If you want to grow your career whilst finding the right balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunity to help you belong and make a real impact.

Your role in a nutshell

You will act as a trusted Sales Operations Business Partner to the SMB & SoHo organisation, driving performance, insight, and operational excellence.

You will play a pivotal role in translating data into action, enabling sales leadership to optimise AOV, revenue, acquisition, and pipeline health — while also leading and developing Sales Operations capability within the team.

What you will do

Performance & Insight

  • Own the end-to-end sales performance framework across SMB & SoHo (revenue, AOV, pipeline, acquisition)
  • Define and track core KPIs, ensuring a consistent and trusted view of performance vs. plan
  • Develop dashboards and reporting (Power BI) to provide clear, actionable insights
  • Interpret trends across the funnel, identifying risks and opportunities early
  • Translate performance signals into clear recommendations for Sales leadership
  • Responsible for supporting on Territory planning/Account Segmentation in Channel

Business Partnering & Leadership Support

  • Act as a strategic partner to SMB & SoHo Sales Leaders, shaping decisions through data and insight
  • Lead weekly forecasting, pipeline reviews, individual performance reviews and overall trading cadence
  • Lead the narrative for Quarterly Business Reviews and executive updates (not just reporting)
  • Ensure alignment across Sales, Commercial & Finance stakeholders

Analytics & Commercial Insights

  • Perform deep-dive and ad-hoc analysis (segmentation, whitespace, partner performance, conversion, etc.)
  • Combine multiple data sources to uncover growth opportunities and efficiencies
  • Support financial planning processes including forecasting and budgeting in partnership with Finance

Sales Operations & Process Excellence

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve sales productivity and scalability
  • Drive improvements in pipeline hygiene, CRM data quality, and reporting consistency
  • Own and enhance core sales processes, ensuring they are fit for purpose as the business evolves

Strategic Initiatives & Change

  • Lead high-impact initiatives to improve sales execution and performance
  • Champion a continuous improvement and change mindset across the organisation
  • Operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and drive clarity
  • Strengthen capability in analytics, reporting, and business partnering across the Sales Operations team

Minimum Experience & Qualifications

Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Strategy roles
  • Proven experience partnering with senior sales leadership in a commercial environment
  • Experience in team leadership or people management
  • Strong track record driving performance through data and insight in a B2B environment
  • Experience working with forecasting, pipeline management, and sales cadences
  • Experience partnering with Finance on planning, forecasting, and budgeting

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Power BI (dashboarding, modelling, storytelling)
  • SQL capability (data extraction and manipulation)
  • Advanced Excel / data modelling skills
  • Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) experience
  • Experience with tools such as Oracle APEX or Power Apps is a plus

Core Capabilities

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth and operational realism
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into simple insights
  • Confident communicator with strong executive presence
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and align senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on

Mindset

  • Resilient and confident delivering under pressure
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong ownership
  • Strong change mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Curious, solution-oriented, and always looking to challenge the status quo

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to translate complex information into easily consumable insights
  • Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
