Role Purpose:

We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Microsoft Product Manager to lead the development, delivery, and lifecycle management of our Microsoft product portfolio. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of how our customers communicate and collaborate and is a key growth area for Vodafone Business.

Vodafone is a Microsoft Direct CSP Partner, assisting customers with their cloud transformation in AI Business Solutions and Cloud and AI Platforms and resell Microsoft services such as Microsoft 365 and Azure as part of the Vodafone portfolio.

As the Microsoft Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing and developing new Microsoft product offerings for Vodafone Business. You will manage our Microsoft portfolio, including products such as Microsoft 365 and Azure, while working with the Group Product, Strategic Partners, and Marketplace teams to launch new Microsoft products that help scale Vodafone’s business.
The role is growth-focused and involves developing Microsoft product opportunities, growing existing revenues, and jointly creating business plans with Sales and Go-To-Market teams.
The role will work with and be supported by the Partner Management and Digital Services teams. The role interacts closely with our Group Microsoft Product Management teams that oversee our Group Product Portfolio.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:

Product Strategy & Growth
• Manage and grow an existing Microsoft product portfolio, including Microsoft 365 and Azure
• Identify new Microsoft product opportunities and drive portfolio expansion. This can include additional services that support the Microsoft Portfolio
• Contribute to business planning aligned with Vodafone’s growth strategy
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
• Develop and launch new Microsoft products using the Vodafone Product Development Processes (Product Operating Model)
• Manage the lifecycle of existing Microsoft products to drive revenue growth
Customer Engagement & Performance
• Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback through direct engagement, surveys, and usage analytics.
• Collaborate with sales, go to market, commercial, strategic partners and operational teams to ensure product-market fit and successful go-to-market execution.
• Define KPIs and success metrics; track product performance and iterate based on data insights.
• Drive continuous improvement in product quality, user experience, and operational efficiency.
Go-To-Market & Commercial Execution
• Work with Sales and Go-To-Market teams to develop and execute product plans that drive sales growth.
• Support positioning of Vodafone solutions to customers, including C-level stakeholders
Stakeholder & Partner Management
• Collaborate with Group Product, Strategic Partners, Sales and the Vodafone Ireland Leadership teams
• Support joint initiatives with Microsoft and internal Vodafone teams
• Work closely with the Vodafone Marketplace teams supporting the sale and lifecycle management of Microsoft products.
• Prioritise system or product issues using factual data.
Compliance & Security
• Ensure the portfolio meets regulatory, security, and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

We Are Looking For You, If You Have

5-10 years’ experience in Product Management including experience in developing, proving, and selling the customer business case.
Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent qualification ideally relating to marketing, business, economics, or technical discipline
Knowledge of Microsoft Products and Services
Has worked with senior functional stakeholders to align with their product strategy and requirements. Highly proficient at managing market strategy and commercial requirements for product/s.
Has managed P&L and commercials for their product.
Excellent product knowledge particularly at the Ireland Market level. Can spot product and technology trends. Can demonstrate a good understanding of key enabling product technologies.
Experience at resolving conflicting requirements.
Requires particular focus on customers/customer-facing. Able to manage and understand local and global customer trends.
Experience and interest in delivering flawless customer experience processes for your products.
Relationship management, influencing skills and contract negotiation experience
