Role Purpose

Vodafone is scaling its leadership in SaaS and Managed Services by launching and operationalising Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI-powered professional and managed services. The Global Product Manager is responsible for shaping Vodafone’s next-generation SaaS and AI portfolio, growing our M365 base and accelerating momentum by delivering compliant, high-impact AI solutions for SME and Corporate customers. This role drives the strategy, development and operationalisation of Copilot and AI services, ensuring Vodafone remains at the forefront of AI innovation and managed service excellence

Who you are

Key Responsabilities

Product Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for M365, Copilot and AI-powered managed & professional services, aligned to Vodafone’s growth objectives.
  • Lead market analysis, customer research, and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities and inform product direction.
  • Set clear objectives and success metrics for M365, Copilot and AI services, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Product Planning & Artefacts

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of all PLCM artefacts (product canvas, investment canvas, PRDs, release notes, adoption playbooks).
  • Ensure robust documentation, version control, and timely stakeholder communication.
  • Guide the junior product specialist in artefact management and best practices.

Go-to-Market & In-Life Operations

  • Lead go-to-market planning, including SKU creation, pricing strategy, enablement collateral, and market readiness checklists.
  • Oversee in-life management: monitor service KPIs (activation, adoption, SLA attainment, CSAT/NPS), analyse telemetry, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure commercial hygiene: pricing accuracy, promotion governance, and cost-to-serve/margin optimisation.

Compliance & Governance

  • Champion privacy-by-design, responsible AI, and regulatory adherence (GDPR, EU AI Act).
  • Lead risk assessments, coordinate with Legal/Compliance, and ensure audit readiness.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Technology, Operations, GTM, Sales, Finance, and local markets (OpCos).
  • Manage relationships with Microsoft and ecosystem partners, ensuring successful integration, enablement, and release management.
  • Mentor and develop the junior product specialist, fostering a high-performance team culture.

Customer & Insight Loop

  • Establish mechanisms to capture and analyse customer feedback from Sales, Care, and pre-sales.
  • Translate insights into actionable backlog items and product enhancements.
  • Lead adoption plays and customer success initiatives for M365, Copilot and AI services.

Innovation & Experimentation

  • Drive rapid experimentation (A/B testing, pilots) to validate new concepts and frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement within the team.

Core Capabilities & Skills

Must Haves

  • Proven experience in product management with launching software / technology products for B2B / Enterprise
  • Deep understanding of M365, Copilot, AI productivity tools, Agentic AI and their integration into enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record designing, launching, and scaling managed AI services (deployment, support, optimisation).
  • Strong technical acumen in cloud platforms (Azure, M365), API integration, and security.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, compliance, privacy, and ethical principles.
  • Commercially minded with proven ability to build a business case and create a P&L
  • Customer-centric design and Design Thinking expertise.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in working with external partners in collaborative development
  • Experience taking AI features from concept to prototype to production and scaled adoption, with clear KPIs and measurable ROI.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
  • Inquisitive and can-do mind-set

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Copilot Studio, Gemini Enterprise, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to agentic AI, autonomous workflows, and multi-agent orchestration.
  • Familiarity with voice AI, natural language processing, and speech recognition.
  • Experience curating and integrating third-party AI solutions.
  • Understanding of marketplace and ecosystem strategy for AI services.
  • Experience in managed service delivery models (SLAs, support frameworks, customer onboarding).
  • Certification in AI, cloud, or product management (e.g., Microsoft AI-900, Azure, Scrum).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Product Launch Success: On-time delivery of SaaS & AI products and services to market, meeting launch milestones and readiness criteria.
  • Adoption & Usage: Growth in activation, usage, and attach rates for SaaS & AI products and services across target segments.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Improvement in CSAT/NPS scores and reduction in support escalations.
  • Commercial Performance: Achievement of revenue, margin, and cost-to-serve targets; pricing and promotion governance compliance.
  • Innovation Velocity: Number of successful pilots, A/B tests, and new features delivered per quarter.
  • Compliance & Audit: Zero critical compliance breaches; timely completion of privacy and regulatory sign-offs.
  • Team Development: Progression and upskilling of junior product specialist(s); positive feedback in team engagement surveys.

Qualifications

  • Degree (Upper second class or higher preferred) or equivalent practical experience in Tech/Telco/IT.
  • Certifications (preferred): Microsoft MS-900, AI-900, AZ-900, PL-900, ITIL Foundation, Scrum Master/PSPO.

Ways of Working

  • Operates within VBGP&S, collaborating with Operations, Technology, Marketing, GTM, Sales, Finance, and local markets (OpCos).
  • Reports to [Senior Global Product Manager SaaS & Managed Services ) leads and mentors the junior product specialist and supports adjacent managed services initiatives.
