About this Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Payroll & Operations Specialist to join our HR Operations team in Pune, India. This role acts as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing expert support on HR policies, processes, payroll administration, and employee queries through Ask HR channels. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end payroll activities, collaborate with stakeholders and third-party payroll providers, support audits, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and help ensure a high-quality employee experience while maintaining compliance and accuracy.

What you’ll do

  • Provide Ask HR support on HR policies, processes, and employee lifecycle activities through digital and email support channels.
  • Serve as a primary contact for employees and managers, resolving complex HR and payroll-related queries.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes and coordinate activities with third-party payroll service providers.
  • Review and validate payroll outputs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
  • Prepare payroll reports and provide regular updates to management.
  • Collaborate closely with market SPOCs, stakeholders, HR teams, Centres of Expertise, Business Partners, and external providers.
  • Provide guidance and support on payroll-related matters and employee concerns.Support onboarding and training activities for new team members.
  • Manage internal and external payroll audits and ensure documentation is maintained accurately.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance employee experience, operational efficiency, and compliance.
  • Contribute recommendations for policy and process enhancements based on operational insights.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and HR system transactions in line with agreed service standards.

Who you are

  • Experience in payroll administration and HR operations is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and employee support operations.
  • Expert understanding of HR systems, particularly SuccessFactors (SF), and HR policies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and business awareness.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and audit requirements.Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and service excellence.
  • Experience supporting process improvement initiatives within an HR environment.
