The Global Business Services within Human Resources is an organization with 800+ employees, delivering end-to-end People and Culture (P&C) operations to all SAP locations worldwide from two service centers in Prague and Manila.

The Global Payroll team is an integral part of our People & Culture (P&C) organization, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, complying with local labor laws, tax regulations, and a high level of employee satisfaction.
The Outsourced Payroll Team you will be a part of is located in Prague with other team members located across multiple countries in the EMEA region. In your day-to-day role, you will work closely with the whole outsourced team, local P&C teams, including the P&C Lead, Local and Global Finance teams, as well as multiple other internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
What you'll build
- As a Payroll Consultant you will coordinate and deliver local payroll operations for several EMEA countries who run payroll outsourced.
- You will also drive the enhancement of globally defined standards, compliance and processes related to payroll processing.
- Through the coordination and the support of local Payroll experts you will define, set and monitor quality standards for payroll operations, ensuring they are met.
You will:
- Be a single point of contact for internal payroll scope of responsibilities and ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Cooperate with P&C Local Services and other stakeholders internally on payroll related tasks and daily operational work across multiple countries.
- Set up and maintain payroll controls and documentation procedures.
- Regularly review operational tasks, processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure and adhere to compliance regulations, guidelines and governance.
- Initiate and drive forward process improvement discussions and coordinate cooperation of involved stakeholders across the organization.
- Cooperate with external providers to ensure the payroll is processed smoothly, timely and in a compliant way.
- Support delivery of business led projects and transformation initiatives.
What you bring
- You will need to have previous experience of payroll or HR administration in a service orientated environment.
- This role requires the accurate handling of confidential information and so you must have a strong eye for detail.
- We are looking for candidates who can work with in collaborative virtual international teams and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Education and Qualification
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in payroll administration or HR.
- Upper-intermediate in English.
- Another language is preferred, with Spanish being advantageous for this role
- Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience of SAP HCM IPP and or SF ECP is advantage.
- University degree is preferred.
- Project execution skills and business transformation experience is preferred.
